What a time to be alive. Truly. I can turn the lights on or off in almost any room in my home without touching a switch. I can also dim the lights or even change the color and set the mood in rooms where I have Philips Hue smart lighting installed. I can speak a command and my Echo Show 5 will show me who’s at the front door. I can speak another command and turn on my air conditioning. I can tell my Sonos system to start playing music upstairs or tell my Roomba to start cleaning up downstairs. The one thing I can’t do is control all the gear in my media center with my voice… or rather, I couldn’t until I found this brilliant little smart home gadget.
