Amazon has been launching new deals on Amazon devices each week despite its shift in focus away from shipping nonessential products.

Amazon announced last month that it would be shifting much of its attention away from nonessential products so that it could focus mainly on shipping medical supplies and other must-have products to hospitals and state governments.
