The company on Thursday announced the brand new Blink Mini smart security camera, an indoor home security camera that complements other cameras in the Blink lineup, like the popular Blink XT2. The XT2 is a weatherproof indoor/outdoor camera that runs for up to 2 years before it needs new batteries, while the new Blink Mini model is only for indoor use. It’s also not battery-powered so it needs to be plugged in like a normal security camera.

The biggest selling feature for the new Blink Mini is likely the price — at just $34.99, it’s very affordable desipite packing all the same core features as more expensive options like the $200 Nest Cam. Amazon’s new Blink Mini also comes with something the Nest Cam doesn’t: free cloud storage through the end of 2020. The Blink Mini is available to pre-order right now on Amazon, and it starts shipping in less than two weeks on April 15th.
