Works well. I have a PS4 Pro and the wifi connection is terrible. It’s sad that Sony is actually aware of this & their only advice is to get a hardline into it. My router is in a different room & it can’t be moved. It wasn’t even that far away. My Apple TV and phone had no problem connecting to it in the living room.

Anyways, I got this because I use Playstation Vue for television as well as the usual streaming services like Netflix and games. I would constantly get kicked off the network & it was becoming unbearable, like literally every hour it would go down or start running super slow. I did some searching on the internet and found that unfortunately, I wasn’t the only person with this problem on their PS4. I got this upon the positive reviews from other PS4 owners.

Set up was super simple. Took all of 30 seconds. The connection has been great so far. My internet speed is 60 down and with this when I tested the network on the PS4 it came in at 40, which is way more acceptable than the 15mb/s download I was getting prior with the PS4 wifi. Some of the reviews here on Amazon say after a few months they start to suck, so I guess we’ll see. Thus far though it has been great and I haven’t dropped my network connection nor has it slowed to a crawl either. I would definitely recommend these for people who are having the same issue I am and can’t move their router.

• A novel coronavirus study says a strain of the virus from India manifested the first meaningful mutation that could hinder vaccine research.
• Other scientists who have been tracking the genetic changes of the virus that causes COVID-19 previously said mutations are minimal, suggesting a vaccine could have long-lasting effects as a result.

The race to acquire COVID-19 immunity will have two separate phases. The first and simplest one is to survive infection with the novel coronavirus strain. You will get immunity, although it’s unclear how long it will last. If you develop a robust response, you could even donate plasma so that others can be treated with it. Vaccines won’t be ready for mass deployment for up to 18 months, even though no less than 70 candidates are already in testing. That number is reassuring, as it seems that plenty of researchers think they can beat this disease with vaccines.

Moreover, scientists who have been tracking the mutation of the novel coronavirus have said that the current evolution of the virus is promising. A vaccine will have long-lasting effects if mutations aren’t significant. But new research has emerged out of India that says the novel coronavirus has already developed a mutation so severe that it could hinder some of the existing vaccine work.

• These masks are so simple to make that you don’t even need to sew, so just about anyone can make them with ease.

We have probably said this about a hundred times by now, but we’re going to say it again: don’t buy medical-grade face masks. N95 respirator masks are in very short supply and if you do happen to find some available for purchase, you should leave them for healthcare professionals and first responders. They need these masks much more than you do.

If you happen to come across KN95 masks at a good price, sure, you can go ahead and buy those. They’re the Chinese version of N95 masks and while they’re believed to work just as well, they’re not certified for use by healthcare professionals so you’re not putting anyone at risk by buying them. That said, there’s actually a very simple way to can make masks yourself that are more than effective enough — IF YOU’RE SMART — and you can make dozens of them with a few simple supplies. We say “if you’re smart” because no, DIY masks obviously aren’t going to be as effective as N95 or KN95 masks. But if you practice good hygiene and use social distancing, these masks will do a great job of adding an extra layer of protection against aerosolized coronavirus.

We came across a great little video that shows how to make a DIY face mask that is much better than most basic masks you’ve seen plans for online. It’s not complicated at all, and you don’t even need to sew or use any hard-to-get supplies. Most of what you need to make these masks is probably already lying around your house, and the only supplies you won’t already have just came back in stock at Amazon. First, you’ll need a MERV 13 Pleated Air Filter. If the one linked here is sold out, use this search and get any well-reviewed air filer with a MERV 13 rating (nothing lower). You also need some Carbon Pad Charcoal Sheets for Air Filters.
