In fact, these little gadgets are easily some of the most popular smartphone accessories the BGR Deals team covers. Last week, a deal we told you about dropped the price of the best-selling WF010 model with an 11-foot long camera tube to $29, but right now there’s a deal on a model that’s three times longer and it only costs $3 more. Scary research says coronavirus is even more contagious than we thought

Researchers in the Netherlands discovered that COVID-19 patients who exhibit mild symptoms can be far more contagious than we thought.
Even people who don’t have any symptoms can infect others from the first sneeze or cough.
The research further underscores the need to practice social distancing and increase the amount of testing in all countries affected by the disease.

With each day that goes by, researchers are making more progress while studying the novel coronavirus outbreak. Some teams have been able to prove beyond any doubt that the COVID-19 virus wasn’t engineered in a lab as a bioweapon, which is critical information for fighting the disease as well as the conspiracy theories floating around. Others have figured out how the immune system responds to the infection in mild-to-moderate cases, but no one can explain why the body fails to kill off the infection in severe cases. Scientists around the world are also working on vaccines and developing treatments based on drugs that are normally used to treat other ailments. Researchers from the Netherlands have analyzed the way the pathogen is transmitted from human to human, concluding that the virus is highly contagious even in cases where patients only experience minor symptoms.

Even then, the Fire TV Stick was only $3 less than it is right now, so you know it’s a killer deal. But there’s only one problem: you can only score a Fire TV Stick for $22.99 if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber. For everyone else, it’s still full price.

That’s definitely a bummer for anyone who doesn’t want to pay $120 a year for Prime, or for those of you who simply can’t afford it. There is a silver lining though because another deal just popped up on Amazon.

The Fire TV Stick 4K is just like the entry-level Fire TV Stick but with two main upgrades. First, it supports 4K resolution as is apparent based on the gadget’s name. And second, it supports HDR content with vivid colors like you’ve never seen before. It normally costs $50 and it does go on sale a few times each year, but typically around big sales events like Black Friday and Prime Day. You can also save by picking up a Certified Refurbished model instead of buying it new, but they’re rarely in stock on Amazon… until now!

Certified Refurbished Fire TV Stick 4K streaming media players are in stock right now and just waiting to be bought. They sell for $44.99 and they’re guaranteed by Amazon to look and function like new. If you buy one and there’s something you don’t like about it, you can just return it for a full refund and you’ve lost nothing. Xbox Series X is beating PS5 in a key way that has nothing to do with specs

Both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will feature backwards compatibility in some form or fashion.
Microsoft has already promised that thousands of Xbox One, Xbox 360, and original Xbox titles will run on the Xbox Series X, but Sony has only mentioned most of the 100 most-played PS4 games for the PS5.
If the PS5 can’t match the Xbox Series X’s Smart Delivery feature, Sony might be in trouble.

I walked away from the PlayStation 5 deep dive on Wednesday with more questions than answers. Why is Sony still not ready to show us what the console actually looks like? Why did Sony repurpose its Game Developers Conference talk rather than prepare something new for an audience made up of hundreds of thousands of consumers? Why have we not seen any games running on the PS5 yet, or even a technical demo of the console in action?

The simple answer to virtually all of these questions is as follows: Sony isn’t ready yet. That’s not to say that the final design of the console is still in flux, or that the PS5 is incapable of playing games in its current state, but Sony’s not ready to pull back the curtain yet. Not entirely, anyway. That might sound obvious, but it’s important context for the point of this piece, that point being that Sony is giving up on making backwards compatibility a priority.

We have now surpassed 250,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases globally and cases in the United States are about to shoot past 15,000. While things finally appear to be winding down in China where the novel coronavirus was first discovered, COVID-19 is only just beginning to spread here in the US. The smartest thing we can do now is to be responsible and self-quarantine because every single time we encounter people while out and about is another chance for the virus to pass from person to person. It takes as long as 14 days for symptoms to present themselves, but the virus can be passed along at any time during those two weeks. Stay inside as much as you possibly can, and when you do have to go out, practice social distancing and stay as far away from other people as you can. Remember, the novel coronavirus can live up to several hours in the air and up to three or four days on some surfaces. The bottom line is that you can’t be too cautious.

Since we’re all going to be cooped up indoors for at least the next few weeks, there are certain things we’re going to need in order to keep ourselves from going stir crazy. There will also inevitably be times when family members get on each other’s nerves, but there’s a good way to help prevent that from happening: Play some music!

Stadia Premiere Edition has been discounted for the first time since it launched in November, down from $129 to $99 for one day only to celebrate the launch of Doom Eternal.
The $99 Stadia Premiere Edition package comes with a Stadia Controller, a Google Chromecast Ultra, and 3 months of Stadia Pro.
Google’s Stadia has seen several major updates in recent weeks, including support for new Samsung, ASUS, and Razer phones, as well as 4K streaming on the web.

Google Stadia didn’t exactly come out swinging when it first launched last November. The cloud gaming service was lacking in several areas, most notably its library, as there were only a handful of games available. And then there were the technical issues, the lack of communication from Google, and its relatively high price. Needless to say, the earliest reviews were not positive, and Google has been doing its best to course-correct ever since.

Other than the limited library, one of the complaints that many people had when Stadia was announced was the cost of entry. In order to get everything that you need to play games on Stadia, you need to buy a Stadia Premiere Edition package, which includes a Stadia Controller, a Google Chromecast Ultra, and 3 months of Stadia Pro. Apple’s iPhone 12 release may not be delayed by the coronavirus according to a new report from Bloomberg, and that’s probably the best possible news we’ve could’ve heard.
If all goes according to plan, iPhone 12 mass production will commence in May.
The biggest selling points on Apple’s new iPhone models will be a big redesign and support for 5G.

With the coronavirus turning the entire world upside down, there have been a handful of reports claiming that Apple’s iPhone 12 — which is poised to be the first iPhone with support for 5G — will be a bit delayed. To this point, analyst Jon Prosser took to Twitter yesterday and said that the iPhone 12 release might be pushed back as far as November.

In light of that, a more optimistic report from Bloomberg claims that Apple’s iPhone 12 lineup is still on schedule and, in a best-case scenario, may not be delayed given that mass production isn’t even slated to begin until May. In other words, if the countries that house Apple’s supply chain can get a handle on the coronavirus over the next 4-6 weeks, there’s a chance iPhone 12 production may not skip a beat and may arrive in stores this coming September.

Amazon recently announced that due to the novel coronavirus epidemic, it will stop restocking and shipping nonessential products until early April in order to make as much room as possible in its warehouses for medical supplies and other essentials.

In light of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Amazon announced a massive change to its typical plans earlier this week. The online retail giant said that it would soon stop restocking and shipping nonessential products in order to free up as much capacity as possible for essentials like medical supplies, cleaners, and disinfectants. It’s unclear exactly when nonessential shipments will cease, but once they do, they won’t start back up again until April 5th. Everyone is being advised to stay indoors and self-quarantine as much as possible so that we might at least slow the rate of new COVID-19 infections.

While we don’t know exactly when shipments will stop, it seems quite apparent that it’s going to happen soon. What makes us say that?
