Sam Smith’s new music video is the best thing you’ll see today
I’m personally not a fan of Sam Smith, to say the least — I find his falsetto to be incredibly grating and his songs have very soupy pseudo-gospel arrangements that leave a lot to be desired. That said, my personal distaste for the British singer’s music hasn’t stopped me from appreciating that his music video for the single “Lay Me Down” is extremely well done.

Game trailers of the week: Persona 5, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Guild Wars 2 and more
Every week, a landslide of video game trailers hit the Internet, hyping up the games that have just been released, the games that are about to be released and even the games that don’t have release dates. It can be a bit overwhelming to keep up with all of them, which is why we’ve decided to collect our favorites into a single post.

Sprint CEO fights back against Legere’s trolling, says T-Mobile is in for a ‘rude awakening’
Sprint, which for years has been the wireless industry’s 90-pound weakling, is showing some fresh signs of fight under new CEO Marcelo Claure. Although Sprint has often in the past been a passive whipping boy for outspoken T-Mobile CEO John Legere, an interview with Claure by CNET shows that the carrier isn’t going to lie down and take it anymore.

REVIEW: Meet the X3, a bold new wireless speaker that blew me away
When a device looks as bold and eye-catching as the Soundbook X3 by Bayan Audio, it’s usually compensating for something. In the case of a portable wireless speaker, the odds are good that it’s compensating for less-than-stellar sound quality. So when Bayan sent me a pair of speakers to test I was skeptical at best, and I assumed I was in store for “all show and no go.”
Of course, you know what they say about assumptions.

I took the same photo with an iPhone 6 and a 6 Plus, the difference is incredible
Since I’m back on the iPhone 6 Plus train (for now), I have taken a couple of pictures with my iPhone 6 Plus and then captured the same picture with someone’s iPhone 6 to truly compare the cameras. While original reviews of the iPhone 6 Plus noted that the optical image stabilization in the Plus made its camera a better performer, most people seemed to think the difference wasn’t that big.
I believe these two pictures I took about a week or two ago in an incredibly dimly lit restaurant show just how wide the gap between the two devices’ cameras really is.
