Unreleased Pixel 4a gets a full hands-on review in this leaked video
- Google’s Pixel 4a prototype just appeared in an extensive leaked hands-on video review.
- Unlike the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, the Pixel 4a features a modern display that stretches from the top to the bottom of the phone with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
- Other specs include a Snapdragon 730 CPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 3080mAh battery, and Android 10 pre-installed.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
Google’s smartphones have never made as much of a splash as Android phones from Samsung, Xiaomi, or Huawei, but the excitement surrounding the Pixel brand reached an all-time low following the release of the disappointing Pixel 4. Although the Pixel 4 was technically more powerful than any other phone Google has ever released, the uninspired design and general bugginess left a bad taste in the mouths of Google fans.
In the meantime, Samsung has released another stellar (but expensive) series in the Galaxy S line, Motorola jumped back into the conversation with a foldable Razr, and several Chinese brands have continued to push the envelope of both design and specifications, all while Google has been mysteriously silent. But the silence will likely end soon, as the most detailed hands-on video of the unannounced Pixel 4a we’ve ever seen just leaked.

These are Krispy Kreme’s first-ever green doughnuts for St. Patrick’s Day
- St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner — it’s a week from today, in fact.
- To get into the spirit of the holiday, the Krispy Kreme doughnut chain is offering green versions of its classic doughnuts for the first time. And in addition to those doughnut variations like Chocolate Iced with green kreme and Strawberry Iced with St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles, there will also be an extra special offering.
- A “Leprechaun Trap Doughnut” that Krispy Kreme describes as a “pot of gold and filled with irresistible Irish Kreme-flavored filling,” will be available in limited quantities at US stores each day starting Saturday, March 14, and running through St. Patrick’s Day.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
St. Patrick’s Day is just a week away, and the ubiquitous doughnut chain Krispy Kreme is already planning to get in on the celebrating with the debut of something it’s never tried before — green doughnuts.
The fun actually gets started at shops throughout the US this Saturday (March 14) and will run through St. Patrick’s Day itself (March 17). When you visit a Krispy Kreme location, you’ll be greeted with display cases filled with what the chain describes as “greenified” versions of customer favorites. That will include doughnuts like the Chocolate Iced with green kreme, Cake Batter with green icing, Strawberry Iced with St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles, OREO® Cookies & Kreme with green icing drizzle, and Chocolate Iced Custard filled with shamrock sprinkles.

What to watch on Netflix and TV: 10 new series to watch this week (March, week 2)
- Each week, the developers behind popular iPhone and Android app TV Time share a list of the top 10 most popular TV series people are watching on TV, Netflix, and more streaming services.
- Netflix always has a strong presence on the list each week, but this week’s showing is especially strong — seven of the top 10 most popular shows of the week are streaming on Netflix.
- YouTube TV also has a show on this week’s list, which is a nice surprise since the service isn’t often represented in TV Time’s roundups.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
Netflix dominated last week’s list of the top 10 shows everyone is watching on Netflix, TV, and other streaming services. In fact, the nation’s top streaming service captured all four of the top four spots, with the smash-hit new series I Am Not Okay With This coming in at #1. For those of you who somehow missed it, this is a show that should absolutely be on your radar. The show was created by Jonathan Entwistle, whose name you likely recognize as the creator of another popular Netflix original series called The End Of The F***ing World, and it stars Sophia Lillis as Sydney Novak, a teenage girl who moves to a small town following the untimely death of her father. She’s already having trouble fitting in at her new high school when she makes a startling discovery that further complicates things: she has superpowers that she can’t control. It’s a very quick watch that you can absolutely binge in just one sitting since the entire first season is just 156 minutes long including credits.
Once you’re done with that great new show and you’re on the lookout for more new series to check out, you’ll find this week’s top 10 list of the most popular content on Netflix, TV, and more down below. And if you thought Netflix dominated last week’s top 10, just wait until you see how many Netflix shows made the list during this second week of March.

New Xbox Series X features will be revealed by Microsoft next week
- Following the cancellation of GDC 2020, Microsoft has decided to host a series of live streams on Mixer for an event it has dubbed Game Stack Live.
- “Xbox Series X + Project xCloud = New Chapter in Gaming” is a stream taking place on March 18th
- Microsoft may reveal new information about the Xbox Series X during the stream.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
Long before entire countries locked down in an effort to restrict the spread of COVID-19, the cancellation of Mobile World Congress 2020 in February portended the chaos that was to come. In the weeks since, countless conferences and events have been canceled or postponed as well, though many will live on through streams and virtual meetings. The 2020 Game Developers Conference was one such event, but rather than forego GDC altogether, Microsoft will instead host Game Stack Live on Mixer on March 17th and March 18th.
Although the streams are intended for developers, anyone can tune in on Mixer, as Microsoft says it will be streaming content that it planned to share at GDC this month. You can check out the full schedule on Microsoft’s developer site, but there was one stream that immediately stood out to everyone who saw it.

Charge 4 different Apple devices with one $20 wireless charging station
- Apple customers rarely ever own just one Apple device, which means they have multiple Apple gadgets that are in constant need of a charge.
- That’s what “charging stations” like the Elaime 4 in 1 Wireless Charging Station are so popular, and this particular model is on sale at its lowest price ever on Tuesday if you use the coupon code L9LCVKEG at checkout on Amazon.
- At just $19.99 on sale, the Elaime model can charge four different devices at once, including the Apple Watch and three others.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
If you’re an Apple fan, there’s almost no way that you own just one Apple product. It’s practically impossible. Apple’s various gadgets and gizmos are almost all best-in-class, and they all offer phenomenal integrations that none of Apple’s rivals come close to matching. iMessage alone is terrific since it’s awesome to have text messages and iMessages in one place that you can access on any mobile device or computer. Then on top of that, you’ve got things like Handoff, iCloud, Keychain, and the Apple Watch, which is basically an extension of your iPhone that lives on your wrist.
All that great integration on all those class-leading products are fantastic, but keeping them all charged up can be a hassle. That’s why having a single charging station when you can refuel all your gadgets at once is a great idea. The Elaime 4 in 1 Wireless Charging Station is a great option for doing just that because it has room for all the different Apple gadgets you might own.

There’s a wireless charging disc on a stand for the Apple Watch and a Lightning connector beneath it where you can charge up your AirPods or AirPods Pro (which are both on sale right now on Amazon, by the way). There’s a wireless charging pad in the middle for your iPhone, and then another Lightning connector on the other side where you can recharge your partner’s iPhone, a smaller iPad model, or even your own iPhone if you have a model that doesn’t support wireless charging.
Elaime’s charging station is a fantastic accessory that’s a must-have for any Apple fan who’s tired of struggling to keep everything powered up. It’s already a great value at its regular price of $33, but the coupon code L9LCVKEG slashes that down to just $19.99 on Amazon. That’s an all-time low, and it’s a deal you definitely don’t want to miss.

iOS 13.4 beta 5 rolling out now on iPhone
- The fifth iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 developer betas are rolling out right now on iPhone and iPad.
- Some of the notable additions in iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 include new Memojis, a CarKey API, iCloud folder sharing, new keyboard shortcuts for the iPad, and the ability to bundle iOS and Mac apps.
- iOS 13.4 is likely to be the last major iOS 13 update ahead of the launch of iOS 14.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
Apple rolled out the latest developer betas for iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 on Tuesday. The past four betas have all dropped exactly a week apart from one another, as Apple seems to be tying up loose ends before iOS 14 arrives this summer. In case you haven’t been keeping up, an early version of iOS 14 or an iOS 14 beta appears to have leaked in recent days, as leaks have been popping up almost hourly spoiling new features and functionality.
In the meantime, if you have a developer account, you can check out all the additions Apple is making in what will likely be the final numbered update for iOS 13 before it is usurped by iOS 14 in June. Some of those features include iCloud folder sharing, new Memojis, and the ability to bundle iOS and Mac apps.

‘Black Widow’ is about to deliver a mind-bending paradox, thanks to ‘Endgame’
- Black Widow’s release date is approaching fast, with Marvel having just released the final trailer for the first MCU Phase 4 film.
- The movie is a prequel that will explore Natasha Romanoff’s actions following the events of Civil War and leading up to Infinity War. It will also likely offer clues about where the MCU is heading.
- Thanks to Endgame, however, we already have a mind-bending Black Widow paradox on our hands.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
I’ve written a lot about Black Widow in the past few weeks, not just because we saw plenty of new footage in the final trailer that was just released, but because the film’s entire plot and post-credits scenes may have leaked in great detail in the past few weeks. However, it was the final trailer that brought us plenty of extra footage an additional commentary, and it finally names the villain of the film. That made me realize that the first MCU Phase 4 movie will also deliver a mind-bending paradox for Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), and it’s all thanks to Avengers: Endgame, of course.

Apple’s iPhone 9 release next month has reportedly been canceled
- Apple’s iPhone 9 was expected to be unveiled in late March ahead of a release in stores in early April.
- A new report says Apple’s release plans for the iPhone 9 have changed because of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, and the device will not be announced or released anytime soon.
- The iPhone 9’s release date has supposedly been pushed back to summer or fall, and the iPhone 12 release might be delayed by up to 2 months as well.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
Apple is widely expected to unveil a slew of new products this month, including the affordable iPhone 9 (or iPhone SE 2, as it’s sometimes called) device that kept popping up in all sorts of rumors in the past few weeks, as well as a new iPad Pro generation. However, the new novel coronavirus threat has prompted Apple to revise is plans, and a leaker now says that not only is the March press event canceled, but Apple is also considering postponing the iPhone 9 announcement and release date. That all has to do with the COVID-19 outbreak that’s currently sweeping the globe with no end or even slowdown in sight.

Rare sale slashes $50 Philips Hue color bulbs to $38.50 each, plus more Philips Hue deals
- Big sales on Philips Hue smart LED lighting products used to be very easy to come by, but good deals have been few and far between lately.
- Today is a rare exception to this new trend, as Amazon is offering several deep discounts on the most popular Philips Hue bulbs out there right now.
- The best deals are on the $50 Philips Hue A19 Multicolor LED Smart Light Bulb, which is on sale individually for $42 or in a 2-pack for $38.50 each — the lowest price of 2020 so far.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
Once upon a time not very long ago, Philips Hue LED smart light bulbs used to go on sale all the time at deep discounts. In fact, there would be different Philips Hue deals available each week, and then nearly every popular bulb in the company’s lineup would be discounted during big sales events. More recently, however, things have changed. Incredibly, almost no Philips Hue deals were available at all during the Black Friday and Cyber Week sales ahead of the holidays last year.
Opportunities to save on Philips Hue bulbs are definitely quite rare right now, but they do exist and you have to make sure you take advantage when the chance to save some cash does arise. One such opportunity is available right now on Amazon, where you’ll find a few great deals on some of Philips Hue’s most popular smart lights.
The Philips Hue A19 Multicolor LED Smart Light Bulb is the single most popular bulb the company makes, and it’s quite pricey at $50 a pop. Right now on Amazon, however, you can buy individual bulbs for $42 each. That’s already a great price, but there’s an opportunity to save even more. 2-packs of these popular bulbs always give you a small discount since they sell for $90 instead of $100, but Amazon has Philips Hue A19 Multicolor LED Smart Light Bulb 2-packs today for $77. That’s only $38.50 per bulb, which is the lowest price so far in 2020.
Philips Hue 548487 Smart Light Bulb, 1, White and Color Ambiance: $42.00
Philips Hue 548610 Smart Light Bulb, 2, White and Color Ambiance: $77.00
In addition to the two deals above that are both great for people who already have Philips Hue setups in their homes, there are two other deals that are perfect for people who are just beginning to build out a Philips Hue setup. The Philips Hue 2-Pack Premium Multicolor Smart Light Starter Kit that includes two color bulbs and a Hue Hub is on sale for $129 instead of $150, and the Philips Hue White Ambiance Smart Bulb Starter Kit with four white bulbs and a hub gets an even bigger discount from $150 to just $109.

Insiders reveal what PS5 and Xbox Series X’s crazy specs mean for next-gen games

Sony’s PlayStation 5 announcement is still nowhere to be found, but the Japanese gaming giant can’t delay it for much longer. Microsoft is already two steps ahead, having revealed the Xbox Series X name and design in December, and most of its specs in mid-February. But regardless of what the PS5 looks like, it’ll have almost the same hardware as the Series X, and it’ll deliver the same type of performance. In fact, it might deliver even better performance if the massive PS5 specs leak from earlier this week was accurate.
Thanks to Microsoft’s surprise Xbox Series X specs announcement, we know exactly what to expect in terms of graphics performance from the Series X: 12 teraflops of GPU power. That’s incredible, and a huge upgrade over the Xbox One X, but what does it really mean? Teraflops alone don’t really explain what the new gaming rig will be capable of, just like megapixels aren’t the only important thing about a camera. However, several developers explained what the GPU upgrade is all about, and their explanations will help eager gamers better understand the big improvements they can expect from the PS5 and XSX.
