Mashable’s Karissa Bell spotted a pretty convincing Apple Watch knockoff at CES 2015 this year and she just couldn’t resist buying it and writing about her experience using it.

Sprint is showing signs of life at just the right time
Wait a minute, is this possible? Is Sprint finally dusting itself off and getting ready to fight after year’s of being the wireless industry’s whipping boy? Per GigaOM, Sprint this week reported that it added 967,000 net subscribers in the final calendar quarter of 2014, which was enough to help it remain the third-largest wireless carrier in the country despite the huge gains T-Mobile has made in the last year.

Good news, Netflix pirates: Your VPN access won’t be stopped anytime soon
After news broke out a few days ago that Netflix might finally be fulfilling one of the requests coming from movie studios and rights holders — stopping Internet users, who bypass geographical limitations with help of VPN connections, from accessing Netflix content from countries other than their own (especially Netflix content for the U.S.) — the company has strongly denied such accusations, BBC reports.

Your private browsing habits are far from being as private as you might think
Most modern browsers come with special private modes meant to help users hide their surfing habits from coworkers or family and/or try to prevent sites from tracking their online activity. That doesn’t mean spy agencies or ISPs won’t be able to see what sites users access — that’s not what private browsing does, as Eric Schmidt has recently learned — but that, in theory, users might guard their privacy to some extent. However, as Business Insider reveals, private browsing isn’t exactly as private as you thought it was.

AT&T says the FTC can’t do anything to stop its throttling of ‘unlimited’ data customers
OK, so it looks like AT&T has been throttling data speeds for customers who have “unlimited” data plans despite the fact that those plans are supposed to be, well, unlimited. Who’s going to do anything about it? The Federal Trade Commission? Well, maybe not. As Ars Technica reports, AT&T doesn’t think the FTC has the jurisdiction to stop them.
