The “Un-carrier” not only added a net 8 million subscribers — including 4 million branded postpaid phone subscribers — but it also unleashed a bunch of new initiatives that gave customers more value for their money that rival carriers were quickly forced to adopt.

Intel is ready to put a Windows 8.1 PC on your dumb TV with this tiny device
The extremely small Curie processor for wearable devices isn’t the only interesting tech product Intel unveiled at CES 2015, as the company also announced a tiny device that’s powerful enough to bring PC powers to any TV, including dumber models, and even run Windows 8.1 apps. The Intel Compute Stick is in a way a Chromecast contender, only Intel’s device can do a lot more things than Google’s streaming solution.

Apple’s 64-bit chip ‘gimmick’ is just about to deliver a huge blow to 2015’s iPhone rivals
When Apple launched the iPhone 5s in late 2013, it sported a special 64-bit processor that was unlike anything seen on a mobile device. At the time, many said the feature wasn’t really needed, with Qualcomm going as far as calling the chip a “marketing gimmick,” before retracting that statement. Since then, all of Apple’s competitors have released 64-bit mobile processors of their own, including Qualcomm… except now things aren’t going exactly as planned for the Snapdragon chipset maker.

Beautiful 3D renders show just how stunning Apple’s redesigned 12-inch MacBook Air may look
These aren’t leaked pictures of Apple’s new 12-inch MacBook Air… but they may be the next best thing. Designer Martin Hajek has created some beautiful 3D renders of what the new MacBook Air will look like based on important details reported earlier this week by 9to5Mac. As Hajek shows us in the picture posted below, the new MacBook Air will not only be insanely thin but will eliminate a lot of extra space on the sides of the device.
