You can jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 right now – here are the details
Apple on Tuesday released a new iOS 8 update, version iOS 8.1.2, that brought various fixes and improvements to iOS devices including a fix to an iTunes Store ringtone-related issue. However, it looks like the company has not yet patched the security exploits let users jailbreak their iPhones, iPads and iPod touch players. Thus, the TaiG tool can still be used to jailbreak devices that have been upgraded to iOS 8.1.2, as PocketNow reports.

Why one of The Pirate Bay’s cofounders hopes the site stays dead
There were a lot of sad pirates on Tuesday after a massive police raid completely shut down the infamous Pirate Bay torrent website worldwide. However, TorrentFreak reports that Pirate Bay cofounder and former spokesman Peter Sunde now believes that the site should stay down with Davy Jones’ locker this time and permanently die off.

Apple slams media for wanting to see a ‘dead man’ in Steve Jobs’s iPod case testimony
Apple is currently on the defense in an iPod antitrust case that claims the company deleted music on users’ iPods that came from third-party sources without explicitly telling them what was going on. The plaintiffs have at their disposal emails from Steve Jobs to other Apple execs and a video testimony from the former Apple leader that are used against the company, and various media organizations including the Associated Press, Bloomberg and CNN want that video to be made public.

Motorola keeps churning out funny Moto 360 video ads
