It’s now possible to jailbreak an iPhone using an Android phone
It’s 2020, but some iPhone and iPad users still want to jailbreak their devices. The good news for them is that despite how sophisticated and secure iOS might have become, it can still be jailbroken. Even iOS 13 can be cracked if you’re looking to install apps on your device that haven’t been allowed in the App Store.
The way you would normally go about jailbreaking your iOS devices was relatively simple. You’d need a special program installed on your Mac or Windows computer which would jailbreak the device connected to said computer via a Lightning cable. But because it’s 2020, you can now do all of that using an Android phone instead of a PC.
Mind. Blown.

Scientists may have finally cracked the dark matter mystery
When astronomers gaze into space they can see many different things. Galaxies, stars, and even black holes can be spotted from our place here on Earth. However, one of the most abundant types of matter in the universe can’t actually be seen at all, or at least we’ve yet to invent the means to do so.
Dark matter may account for over three-quarters of all matter in the universe, but it can’t be observed directly. Instead, scientists have to infer its existence based on how other objects in the cosmos react to its gravity. But what is it, and will we ever be able to explain its origins? A new study by researchers at the University of York attempts to do just that, offering a potential explanation for what dark matter really is.

Tesla vehicles could park themselves after dropping you off in the future
Tesla’s ability to think outside the box is undoubtedly one of the reasons behind the company’s ongoing success. From its vast Supercharger network to its steady stream of over-air-updates, Tesla has quite literally changed the dynamics of the automotive experience. At the same time, Tesla’s penchant for thinking outside the box can sometimes stretch far beyond what is necessary or even practical.
Take Smart Summon, for example. The feature enables users to summon their vehicles in parking lots. It sounds intriguing, but at the end of the day, all it does is save you a quick walk to your parked car. The downside, though, is that we’ve already seen a number of instances of Tesla vehicles getting into accidents while cruising with Smart Summon engaged. While the technology behind Smart Summon is impressive, it’s essentially a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.

This is the most exciting Galaxy Note 20 rumor we’ve heard yet
Samsung has just launched two new flagship handsets — the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy S20 — which means that it’s open season when it comes leaks about the next flagship phones set to arrive this year. The first Galaxy Fold 2 and Note 20 rumors are already here, and we have two reasons to get excited.
While it may be too early for Samsung to confirm anything, the company is notorious for its inability or unwillingness to prevent rumors. For a few years now, we’ve known everything about the upcoming Galaxy S or Note handset long before they launched thanks to plenty of leaks and rumors that preceded Samsung’s announcements. The same will probably happen with the Note 20 series, and the closer we get to Samsung’s Unpacked event that will likely take place in early August, the more we’ll know about the phone.

Getting an iPhone replacement may take longer due to the coronavirus
While it remains to be seen if the coronavirus ultimately has much of an impact on when Apple’s iPhone 12 hits store shelves, the epidemic is already impacting iPhone replacement availability. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple has started informing retail stores that “replacement iPhones for heavily damaged devices will be in short supply for as long as two to four weeks.”
On a related note, some stores employees have already started noticing that certain replacement parts — such as displays and camera modules — are in short supply as well.

A colossal asteroid is about to pass by Earth, but we’ll be fine
NASA and other space agencies around the globe do their best to keep a close eye on objects that get a little too close to Earth for comfort. Oftentimes these space rocks are small in size, representing little threat to our planet or its inhabitants. The asteroid called 52768 (1998 OR2) falls into an entirely different category, and it’s about to pay Earth a visit.
Astronomers studying the rock don’t know for certain how large it is, but they’ve narrowed it down to between 1.1 and 2.5 miles wide. That’s a big chunk of space junk, and if it were to collide with our planet it would be absolutely devastating. The good news is that as far as NASA is concerned, that’s not about to happen.

Coronavirus will force Apple to delay at least one new product, insider says
There’s no end in sight for the coronavirus outbreak, as the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases continues to rise around the world. Aside from China, three major coronavirus hot zones emerged in the past few weeks, including Iran, Italy, and South Korea, which account for over 11,000 cases combined, or more than 10% of the total number of cases worldwide. The infection rate in Italy significantly increased the number of cases in the rest of Europe, as well, and the US has seen a steady increase in new cases over the past couple of weeks.
These developments prompted companies to withdraw from various trade shows. Other events were closed or postponed, with prominent examples including MWC, the Geneva Auto Show, and Google I/O 2020. Others might follow soon. Apple’s WWDC 2020 event might be next, and even the Tokyo Olympic Games are at risk of being canceled. Now, it looks like the outbreak might hinder the launch of various products this year, including Apple’s devices.
