Nokia recently shed its devices and services group in a multi-billion dollar deal that saw its entire Windows Phone business offloaded to Microsoft, which will continue to push Windows Phones under the Lumia brand. While many thought the deal could mean the end of Nokia’s consumer business, the company surprised us all this past summer when it launched its first Android app, the shockingly innovative Z Launcher app that will finally public beta on Tuesday.
Where Nokia’s efforts with Android are concerned, however, that app was just the beginning.

You might have to wait even longer for the 5K Retina iMac of your dreams
Some Mac fans who have ordered the recently announced 27-inch 5K Retina iMac all-in-one computer have already received notices via email that shipping has been delayed, 9to5Mac reports. Apple has informed buyers who have chosen this particular iMac model recently of the delays, and people placed their orders last month are also being notified that delivery estimates are being pushed back.

Snapchat just made a huge move to get into mobile payments
Snapchat is now officially good for something more than discreetly sending out your nude selfies. Re/code reports that Snapchat has just unveiled a new mobile payments feature called Snapcash that will let you send money through Snapchat to your friends. The new feature was created through a partnership with Square, the popular mobile app used by merchants to process credit card payments on iPhones and iPads.

After all this time, here’s what Google still gets wrong about big tablets
Google has certainly released some quality tablets, most notably its smaller series of Nexus 7 tablets. However, Ars Technica has taken a very detailed look at the Nexus 10 with Android 5.0 Lollipop installed and has concluded that Google still can’t get large tablets right.

9 out of 10 iPhone buyers got an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus over the past month
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are Apple’s best-selling iPhone models to date, and now new research from UBS and Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) says Apple has sold mostly 2014 models to buyers looking to buy an iPhone during the first 30 days following the iPhone 6 launch.
