The funniest thing you’ll see today: Jimmy Kimmel and Siri the waitress
Apple has continued to improve its voice-based iOS virtual assistant since launching it a few years ago, but Siri still isn’t perfect and might cause some unexpected headaches. In fact, a recent study from AAA and the University of Utah found that Siri and similar hands-free voice-activated assistants can distract drivers rather than help them while on the road. And Jimmy Kimmel did not miss that opportunity to make fun of Apple’s Siri during Tuesday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show.

Here’s one HUUUUGE reason to be excited about the upcoming iPad Air 2
Apple has coined a new name for the higher resolution iPhone 6 displays, introducing “Retina HD” to describe the iPhone 6’s 1334 x 750 (326ppi) screen and the iPhone 6 Plus’s 1920 x 1080 (401ppi) display. BEWARE: Half of all Android phones are still vulnerable to a massive privacy bug – here’s how to protect yourself!
Software update delays are an inevitability because of the way the Android ecosystem is built, but these delays aren’t just an annoyance for Android users — they can be dangerous. A bug was discovered by security researcher Rafay Baloch in early September, and it caused Android’s stock web browser to fail to enforce same origin policy (SOP), which is a protocol that governs how browsers securely load content from multiple sources. The bug impacted all pre-KitKat devices, and it was patched fairly quickly by Google.
But because it takes so long for handset makers and carriers to test and distribute Android updates, a new study has determined that nearly half of all Android phones are still affected by the bug.

The simplest explanation of why iOS 8 adoption has almost stopped
Unofficial statistics and Apple’s own iOS adoption stats have revealed that iOS 8 isn’t as “popular” as its predecessors when it comes to fast updates — iOS 8 was installed on 47% of iOS devices 20 days following its release, while iOS 7 was installed on 70% of devices in the same period of time.
