Early Galaxy Note 4 benchmarks suggest the iPhone 6 is still the better performer
The first Galaxy Note 4 benchmarks following the phone’s limited South Korean and Chinese launch have emerged and they suggest that while the Galaxy Note 4 may be better than many of other Android devices in certain tests, it may still be lagging behind its main rivals, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Phone Arena has compared scores obtained by the Galaxy Note 4 (Exynos 5433 version) in various benchmark tests with the iPhone 6, and Apple’s handset has scored better in many of them.

Netflix is now Disney on steroids
As it happens, the news about Netflix doing a sequel to “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and doing a break-through same-day streaming/movie theater release is far from the only bombshell Netflix is lobbing this month. The “Tiger” project alone has already ruffled movie industry feathers — major chains have instantly decided to blackball the film, preventing it from being screened on their theaters. Doing a streaming video sequel to a property that grossed more than $200 million globally in its theatrical run was already a major provocation to traditional movie industry, but now Netflix has another curve ball.
It has inked an unprecedented four-film package deal with Adam Sandler, arguably the biggest comedy star of late 1990s.

This is what Android L’s beautiful ‘Material Design’ looks like on the Galaxy S5
Samsung isn’t known for being able to offer its mobile device users fast updates to Google’s latest Android OS versions, but that might change starting with Android L, as Google decided this year to offer both users and OEMs a preview release of the software well ahead of its official fall launch. SamMobile has already obtained an early Android L version for the Galaxy S5, and while it is still buggy and laggy, it looks like Samsung is already working on updating its TouchWiz user interface to match Android L’s Material Design.

Apple is bringing one of the most requested missing features back to iOS 8
