Well, this is awkward. Redditor arokrn has posted a picture of an in-store iPhone 6 display at a Dutch electronics retail outlet and it seems that the display was purposefully designed to bend in the most ironic way imaginable.

Apple is preparing a special October press media event focused on iPad and Mac, according to many reports, where it’s expected to unveil a new 9.7-inch iPad model (unofficially referred to as iPad Air 2), which will share some design features with Apple’s iPhone 5s and iPhone 6. The recently released iOS 8.1 beta 1 version has already revealed that Apple’s next iPad will have a Touch ID fingerprint Home button like its latest iPhones, and Bloomberg reports the device will also feature one extra color option.

Watch display in Apple’s video is actually smaller than you initially thought
When unveiling the Apple Watch during the iPhone 6 event, Apple showed a longer than usual 10 minutes video, narrated by its design guru Jony Ive, in which the company talked about various Apple Watch features, from hardware to software. That presentation video was later uploaded on the company’s YouTube channel, just like most of its videos, but Apple on Tuesday pulled the clip, replacing it with an edited version. As 9to5Mac reports, the first video featured an Apple Watch with a display that’s slightly bigger than the Apple Watch’s actual display.

Foxconn goes on a hiring spree to meet iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus demand
Launching a smartphone in 115 countries and regions within a four month timespan would be difficult enough to pull off without unprecedented demand, but if Apple is going to push its latest flagship worldwide, it’s going to need some help. Digitimes reports that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus manufacturer Foxconn Electronics is hiring workers at its Chinese plants in droves in order to meet demand.

Apple Watch production reportedly starting sooner than you might think
When unveiling the Apple Watch during its big iPhone 6 event, Apple offered only a mysterious “early 2015” launch window for its first wearable computer, without committing to a specific release date for the gadget. Meanwhile, Taiwanese publication Apple Daily has found out the iPhone maker will start Apple Watch mass production as soon as January 2015, with Quanta Computer being the only company making the device for Apple.
