When Microsoft shared new details about the Xbox Series X earlier this week, the focus was understandably on the specifications and the hardware. With a 12 teraflop GPU, the new Xbox will be twice as powerful as the Xbox One X, and that’s to say nothing of the custom CPU, the lightning-fast SSD, the Variable Rate Shading (VRS) to improve the quality of each scene, and hardware-accelerated DirectX Raytracing.

But I was just as intrigued by the new features as I was the upgraded hardware, which is why I wrote an entire article about Smart Delivery. It turns out that Microsoft had one last feature to reveal, though. Speaking with Jason Ronald, Partner Director of Program Management, Xbox Live’s “Major Nelson” (Larry Hyrb) explained just how much more powerful the quick resume feature will be on Xbox Series X than it was on Xbox One.

It’s been a relatively quiet start to 2020 as far as skywatching goes. Sure, we’ve had some full Moons and a few other treats here and there, but nothing particularly awesome… until tonight, that is. Thursday evening will give residents of the Northern Hemisphere a chance to spot a lovely sight in the sky: Venus shining brightly alongside a crescent moon.

Venus, which is often easily spotted thanks to its bold glow, will sit near the Moon in the southwest sky. If you’re fortunate to have clear skies overhead, you’ll have a great chance at spotting the pair without the help of a telescope or even binoculars.

When it comes to upcoming smartphones with new designs Apple fans and Android fans alike have plenty to look forward to in 2020. On Apple’s side of the fence, the iPhone 12 is expected to usher in the first big iPhone redesign in three years. For that reason, the iPhone 12 might have what can be considered the most hotly-anticipated new design of the year. Will it be the most innovative or the most modern new design? Absolutely not. In fact, the top Apple insider in the world is convinced that the iPhone 12 will still have a notch at the top of the screen, which would make it one of the only flagship phone series of 2020 that still uses a large notch. Granted, practically every Android flagship that will be released this year looks the same since every company has decided to steal Samsung’s Galaxy S design. But compared to sleek all-screen phones with curved all-screen designs, the leaked iPhone 12 design we just took a closer look at earlier this week isn’t terribly exciting.

Sure, it’ll be great to see Apple modernize its old iPhone 5 design that everyone loved so much. How sleek are the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro going to look with flat metal edges? And yes, Samsung’s Galaxy S20 design is incredibly sleek and it’ll be interesting to see every other Android phone maker out there offer up their interpretations of it. But there’s another new smartphone design that was just uncovered recently, and it’s so crazy that it seems like a concept phone dreamed up by one of the many tech enthusiast graphic designers out there. It turns out that the design is very real, however, and it could be unveiled sooner than you might think.

March 2020 is set to be a fantastic month for new series on both traditional TV as well as streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. Heck, even Apple’s TV+ has some new content set to be released that people are buzzing about. Netflix is obviously the most popular streaming service out there right now, so let’s focus on that for a moment. Next month alone, Netflix is set to release a whopping 55 new original movies, specials, and complete seasons of TV series. Fifty-five! Netflix spends a fortune on content and as we all know, it’s definitely paying off. No other streaming service out there comes anywhere close to matching Netflix when it comes to original content. Heck, no traditional TV networks come close, either.

You should definitely check out all of Netflix’s new original releases coming in March in our earlier coverage, but there are a few in particular that are hot enough to have made it to the list of March’s most hotly anticipated new releases. And incredibly, perhaps, there’s a show from another network that beat out all of Netflix’s originals to climb to the top of the list.

Samsung recently took the wraps off its new Galaxy S20 lineup, not that there was much left to unwrap. Google owns and operates a variety of useful apps that are available to anyone free of charge. Most of them work on any device and browser, although not all of them, and Google gives preference to Android development when it comes to the mobile versions of this app. But there’s one cool Google application that used to require Chrome to work.
