New Sprint CEO explains why he’s killing Sprint’s godawful ‘Framily’ ads
While we’re not aware of any awards for making the year’s worst ad campaign, but if they do exist then 2014’s winner would undoubtedly be Sprint’s godawful “Framily” ads that featured a family sired by a talking hamster. FierceWireless reports via Twitter that incoming Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure seemingly agrees that this year’s “Framily” ads were truly horrible by any standards because they did a lousy job of communicating exactly what Sprint was trying to offer.

Probably not but that’s the first thing that popped into our heads when we read this report from Computerworld in which John Sims, president of BlackBerry enterprise solutions, says that the company is doing research into wearable computers. However, from the sound of his comments, it seems that BlackBerry is only looking for a way to bring BBM to wearable computers such as smartwatches and smart glasses.

The reaction to the Apple Watch seems to be split right down the middle. Over 9500 BGR visitors voted in the poll we hosted on our website regarding the watch’s design — the results show a roughly a 50-50 split over whether they like the watch’s design or not. Yes, the Apple Watch is water resistant – but you can’t shower with it
Apple unveiled its “magical” new mobile product line during the iPhone 6 keynote, but the company left many questions unanswered about its “one more thing.” For instance, Apple did not say whether the Apple Watch will be waterproof or water-resistant, although it did show a version of the device splashed with water in one video, implying that there is at least some degree of water resistance. In a private Apple Watch briefing, David Pogue has learned that the device will be water-resistant, but that doesn’t mean you can take showers with it.
