Here’s one Mark Zuckerberg anecdote that would have made for a great scene in The Social Network. Business Insider has been leafing through a new ebook written by Noah Kagan, who is now the CEO of daily deals website AppSumo and who worked at Facebook for nine months back in 2005, and it’s found that Kagan makes some pretty startling allegations against his former boss that involve a samurai sword.

Google finally adds the killer Gmail feature you’ve been waiting for

Apple has a brand-new reason to hate the NSA
Because of security concerns, the Chinese government has banned Apple tablets and laptops from the list of devices its departments can purchase for their employees with public money. According to Bloomberg, government officials familiar with the matter say that ten Apple products, from the iPad and iPad mini to the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, were not included in a government procurement list sent out in July.

HOLY COW: Russian hackers have stolen an astonishing 1.2 BILLION login credentials
Less than a dozen young Russian hackers have “audited the Internet,” as one security researcher told The New York Times, and have stolen a massive amount of usernames and password combinations that are used for login purposes on hundreds of thousands of websites. Instead of selling them on the black market, the hackers are apparently using them to sell spamming services to interested parties.

The most hilariously named ex-Apple employee is auctioning off his old business card
Amazing but true: Apple at one time employed a man named Sam Sung, who left the company in late 2013. However, Sung has decided to use his awesomely ironic name to help a greater cause and he’s now auctioning off one of his old business cards on eBay for charity.

GREAT NEWS, iPHONE FANS: The iPhone 6’s battery may be much better than you were expecting
One of the many unknown iPhone 6 details is battery size, with a new reports suggesting that Apple’s 4.7-inch handset might ship with a battery that’s even bigger than initially anticipated. G for Games cites Sung Chang Xu, news chief analyst at ESM-China, who said on Weibo that the phone may have a 2,100mAh battery, which is significantly larger than the previously rumored 1,810mAh battery for this particular iPhone 6 version.
