The biggest Marvel mystery left after ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is about to be solved
Avengers: Endgame is so good that you’ll have an amazing time watching it without seeing any of the 21 movies that preceded it. But it’s far more enjoyable to watch after you catch up with all the other MCU adventures. Not only will Endgame make a lot more sense, but you’ll appreciate all the incredible Easter Eggs Marvel managed to squeeze into the flick. Going forward, you’ll have to subscribe to Disney+ to get the same fantastic MCU experience, and that’s because more than half of the upcoming MCU stories will be told with the help of limited TV series. All the Disney+ shows will tie into the six movies that have been confirmed for Phase 4, and they’ll feature the same great characters and actors you’re used to seeing in MCU films.
Of all the new Disney+ Marvel series that will soon hit the streaming service, we’ve been focusing on the first three, but not solely because they’re the ones that have started production. These series will deliver a few essential plot twists, and one of them will explain the biggest mystery left after Endgame.

‘Vivarium’ and all the new movie trailers you need to watch from this past week
It should have been a busy weekend over in Barcelona, Spain, with several big companies unveiling their latest mobile devices, but then the coronavirus struck, prompting the organizers to cancel the Mobile World Congress. It would have been a frantic weekend of running around from meeting to meeting, with hardly any time to dedicate to Hunters. Because yes, that’s the brand new show to binge right now, over on Amazon Prime. It’s that Al Pacino TV series about a group of Nazi hunters who’re hunting Nazi’s in the US in the late ‘70s.
Now, if you’re planning on hitting theaters, you should be aware of a couple of new releases, including The Call of the Wild, which is my favorite this weekend, a survival story starring Karen Gillan and Harrison Ford. If you into horror stories, then you might be more interested in Brahms: The Boy II. Then, there’s always Sonic, who swept up the box office last week, and is likely to hold on to the lead for at least one more weekend.

Dyson is dead to me now that I’ve tried this Bissell vacuum, and it’s on sale today at its lowest price
Like most people out there, I have been a big fan of Dyson vacuums for as long as I can remember. Actually, I should probably say I had been a big fan of Dyson vacuums. I still marvel at how powerful Dyson’s motors are on its cordless stick vacuums, but I’ve dumped Dyson and I’m never going back. Why? It’s because I found something so much better, and for far less money than the $600 or $700 you’ll pay for a brand new Dyson.
The Bissell ICONpet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner is definitely my new favorite vacuum. In fact, it might be my new favorite thing, period. I have a dog who sheds constantly and this cordless stick vacuum tears through pet hair like it’s nothing. Seriously, it’s crazy how my dog’s long hair never tangles in the brush roll in the intake like it always did with my Dyson.
Beyond performance, there are three more reasons to choose this model over a Dyson, and the first two are beyond simple: the battery life is awesome, and it has a light. You won’t believe all the dirt, dust, crumbs, and pet hair you miss when you use a vacuum without a bright LED light bar like the one on this vacuum. Second, it’s so much less expensive than a Dyson — especially today while it’s on sale at an all-time low of just $187.99 for one day only. This model retails for $350 and it’s worth every penny, so don’t miss this deal.
BISSELL ICONpet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner (22889): $187.99
Here’s more from the product page:
- A large brush roll with specially engineered bristles and powerful suction ensures pet hair stays off the brush roll and goes straight into the tank without wrapping
- CleanSlide Technology, an engineered system to remove debris from the separator, provides a mess-free empty, so there’s no clean up after the cleanup
- Smart Seal Allergen System is a sealed system that helps trap fine dust and allergens inside the vacuum
- Power through pet hair with a Motorized TurboBrush Tool and Lighted LED Crevice Tool + Dusting Brush
- Illuminate dirt throughout your home as you clean
- For charging and storing your ICONpet Cordless Vacuum
- BISSELL is proud to offer our best cordless pet hair management system floor care device for homes with pets and families. ICON pet Cordless is designed for pets and engineered for power. This cordless vacuum comes with a High-Powered Digital Motor and 22v lithium-ion battery that together provide a faster and easier way to vacuum your entire home and car. Forget about that annoying hair wrap around the brush roll. Our innovative Tangle-Free Brush Roll leaves no hair wrap behind. The machine also lays flat to clean under beds and couches with remarkably bright LED lights on the vacuum’s foot to help you see pet hair and other debris that are easy to miss in the dark. ICON pet Cordless quickly converts into a hand high-reach vacuum. Plus, it works with specialized pet tools to clean messes anywhere your pet goes. And when you’re done cleaning, emptying the dirt tank is a cinch without Mess Free Empty Dirt Tank with Clean Slide Technology.
- When you purchase this product, you can help us save pets. BISSELL will donate $25 for each purchase of this pet product to BISSELL Pet Foundation. Donations can be activated at BISSELL/save pets. This year, we’re committed to donating at least $1,000,000 to BISSELL Pet Foundation. And, we’re proud to design products that help make pet messes, odors and pet homelessness disappear. *Tested per tangle free protocol BTP0251-A with hair length 6-8“. **BISSELL donates up to $25 dollars to the BISSELL Pet Foundation for every pet product purchase, upon activation.

More often than not, I find myself trying to book a Delta flight whenever I travel, both to continue to rack up SkyMiles since I’m a member of the airline’s loyalty program but also because I’ve found it to just offer a better overall experience. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a sucker for those sweet low fares offered by Southwest, another airline I’ll jump at the chance to fly with. But because it’s a smaller airline and tends to fly to fewer destinations, I don’t always have the opportunity to book with Southwest (and do the awkward pre-flight lineup, a gripe for another day). All that said, for a Delta loyalist like me, it’s a small step from there to looking around for a solid co-branded card that can give me extra value for this relationship I’ve voluntarily entered into. There are certainly plenty out there, and if you’ve never dipped a toe into the world of rewards-based credit cards before, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s the difference between a piece of plastic that you use to make purchases and hits you with interest for carrying a balance, versus a card that offsets all that with a grab bag of perks and rewards, from free checked bags to priority boarding, bonus points that can be exchanged for miles and so much more.
What I’d like to zero in on in this post is a look at two cards that Delta loyalists like myself often find themselves weighing against each other when they’re researching all the various cards that are out there. One of them is the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, regarded as the premiere co-branded Delta consumer card. However, you’ll often hear other people insist that The Platinum Card® from American Express is actually the better card for Delta flyers. Today, we’ll dive in to see which of these two cards is the best card for you.

Feast your eyes on the first set photos of Robert Pattinson as ‘The Batman’
Batman fans and everyone else eager to get another taste of what Robert Pattinson will bring to the DC franchise next year — when he formally dons the Dark Knight’s cape and cowl, taking over for Ben Affleck — have been rewarded with a collection of leaked set images and video taken from the set of The Batman, which is due to hit theaters in the summer of 2021.
The fresh leaks follow the camera test that director Matt Reeves shared on Twitter earlier this month, in which Pattinson was seen for the first time in the new design for the Caped Crusader. The new images have purportedly been spurring Warner Bros. to try and get the Twitter accounts suspended of anyone caught sharing these images, which were apparently shot at the Glasgow Necropolis cemetery in Scotland, per Variety. Read on to see a sampling of these images, including a glimpse of a stuntman wearing the Batman outfit and riding what looks like the Batcycle.

PS5 and Xbox Series X are both guaranteed to be at this event
This has been a rough week for gaming fans excited about the next generation of home consoles. Not only did the seven-year anniversary of the PlayStation 4 reveal event come and go without a peep about the PS5, but Sony also announced that it would be pulling out of both PAX East and the 2020 Game Developers Conference due to concerns about the coronavirus outbreak. We have no idea whether this will affect the long-awaited reveal of the console or not, but we do know that we shouldn’t expect to hear any official news from either of those events.
Sony had also previously stated that it would be skipping E3 for the second year in a row, but it sounds like we might finally have confirmation of an event where both next-generation consoles will be on hand.

Cable TV’s subscriber losses in 2019 dwarfed the population of Los Angeles
“The media industry is finally facing that long-feared moment of accelerating cord-cutting.”
That’s one of the it-should-go-without-saying highlights of a new research note published this week from Wall Street analyst firm MoffettNathanson, the big takeaway from which is that the cable TV industry continues its long, slow process of bleeding out thanks to being gutshot from cord-cutters. 2019, according to the new report, was another watershed year for the industry, with subscriber losses hitting 6 million over the course of the year — a decline of 7% compared to 2018.
We all know what’s driving this trend. Cable service sucks. The prices are too high and keep rising. Customers are also constantly subjected to trickery, hidden fees, and other bits of subterfuge so that a dying industry can keep squeezing a little more money out of the customers who remain. There’s also something else, though.
