Everything new coming to Disney+ in March 2020
Disney+ has been widely available for months now, but I’m still getting used to the staggered release schedule of all of its shows. Even though the seventh season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars premieres this month, it will run through all of March and beyond, just as The Mandalorian did for its eight-episode run earlier this year. But, to be completely honest, I think I prefer it this way, as it’s slightly less overwhelming than Netflix’s strategy.
Other than a bunch of new Clone Wars episodes, the highlight of the month has got to be Black Panther, which joins a ton of other Marvel movies on Disney+ (but not Avengers: Infinity War). We’re also getting an original movie called Stargirl and a brand new series called Be Our Chef later this month.

Exciting plot details leak for Marvel’s first MCU Phase 4 TV series
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in for a huge new phase of superhero stories, and that’s because the MCU now has a powerful new component, the Disney+ streaming service. Out of the 14 titles included in Phase 4, eight of them are TV series that will feature some of the same heroes we’ve seen in previous MCU films and brand new superheroes who will join the Avengers later. These limited series will provide additional context and enrich the character arcs that Marvel is developing for the overarching MCU storyline. And it just so happens that two of the most important Disney+ Marvel series premiere later this year, including WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Now, someone who supposedly worked with footage from both series has shared new spoilers from the upcoming Disney+ shows.

Here’s how MIT wants to save Earth from killer asteroids
If science fiction movies have taught us anything, it’s that saving Earth from a killer asteroid is going to take some big drills and probably nuclear weapons. Thankfully, if a particularly large space rock ever were to threaten Earth, our plan of attack would probably be a bit more level-headed. That is, as long as we saw the threat far enough in advance.
A team of researchers from MIT has thought long and hard about how to save Earth from a killer asteroid, and they’ve come up with a plan that wouldn’t require any particularly drastic measures. The key to the plan is being able to spot the object well ahead of time.

Anker’s popular 10W fast wireless charging pad is a no-brainer at $8.49
There are two very good reasons why the Anker 10W PowerWave Pad Wireless Charger is the #1 best-selling product in Amazon’s massive cell phone charger department right now. First, it’s made by Anker so it’s obviously going to be as good as it gets in terms of quality. Second, it’s on sale right now for only $8.49, which is completely crazy!
Anker’s PowerWave Pad supports three different charging modes. Older phones get 5W wireless charging and iPhones can utilize the faster 7.5W charging speeds. Then Android phones like Samsung Galaxy devices up the charging speed to 10W. At just $8.49 a piece with no coupon to clip or promotional code to enter, that means you can buy as many as you want at the discounted price. That way you have one in your office, at least one on the first floor of your home, and as many as you need in upstairs bedrooms so that everyone can charge while they sleep!
You’ll find plenty of big discounts on Anker products today on Amazon, and we’ve listed all the best ones down below. The PowerWave Pad at $8.49 is definitely a can’t-miss deal though, so we wanted to single it out.
Anker 10W PowerWave Pad Wireless Charger
- The Anker Advantage: Enjoyed by over 50 million happy users worldwide, our leading technology will change the way you charge.
- The Need for Speed: With a high-efficiency chipset providing 10W high-speed charging for Samsung Galaxy, and a 7. 5W charging mode to charge iPhones 10% faster than other brands, PowerWave is bridging the gap between wireless and wired charging speeds.
- Led indicator: The LED indicator lets you know the charging status. If the indicator is flashing blue, check to make sure that there are no objects between your phone and the charging surface. If the indicator is flashing Green, make sure you are using a 5V/2a or above adapter, or try a different adapter and cable.
- Case friendly: Don’t fumble with your phone case. Power Wave transmits charging power directly through protective cases. Rubber/plastic/TPU cases under 5 mm thickness only. Magnetic and metal attachments or cards will prevent charging.
- What you get: PowerWave Pad, 4 ft Micro USB cable, welcome guide, worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.

Leaked Pixel 5 render shows just how ugly Google’s prototype is
A few days ago, a YouTuber created a Pixel 5 render that showed the back of one of three prototypes that Google is supposedly considering for its 2020 flagship handset — if we can even call it a flagship to begin with. That image was apparently based on a leaked CAD file and focused on the handset’s rear camera system, which features an unusual design compared to everything else out there. At the time, we heard that the Pixel 5’s front side would still feature a large top bezel similar to what Google did on the Pixel 4. Now, we finally have a render that shows the full design of this purported Pixel 5 prototype. Spoiler alert: It’s ugly, which seems to be a signature feature for Pixel phones.

Xbox Series X at E3 2020 will be even more exciting than we thought
Whether or not Microsoft fully reveals the next-generation Xbox ahead of E3 2020, we can at least expect a massive show from the company during the trade event this summer. Not only will this likely be the first time the press and the general public will be able to get their hands on the Xbox Series X, but Sony has already confirmed that it is skipping the show this year, which means Microsoft will have the airwaves all to itself.
Unsurprisingly, Xbox boss Phil Spencer wants to take full advantage of Sony’s absence this summer.

After trying BenQ’s mind-blowing new 4K home theater projector, I might never buy a normal TV again
There are still plenty of people out there who think home theater projectors are only meant for dark basements or media rooms in mansions. I’m here to tell you that’s not the case at all. In fact, you can spend about the same amount of money on a high-quality home theater projector as you would on a high-end Sony TV, but you’ll end up with a picture up to 120-inches in size that will fit any room perfectly and look amazing in the dark or in bright light.
I’ve tested several BenQ home theater projectors in the past and I’ve been fairly impressed with them all. That said, I’ve never experienced anything quite like the new BenQ TK850 True 4K HDR-PRO Home Entertainment Projector. Holy. Moly.
The 3,000-lumen lamp is wonderfully bright and crisp, and the picture looks amazing even on a wall. Get a good-quality home theater projector screen instead, however, and you’ve got a crisp 4K picture that blows away most LED TVs. It’s fantastic for movies, sports, and even for gaming, and you’ll wonder why it took you so long to dump your TV and switch to a projector. This model has a list price of just over $1,800 on Amazon, but you can pick it up today for $1,699 even. A decent 80-inch TV costs about three times that much, and this puppy can go up to 120 inches!
BenQ True 4K HDR-PRO Home Entertainment Projector | TK850 | DLP | 3000 Lumens | Rec.709 | 3D Pr…: $1,699.00

Netflix dominates this week’s list of the 10 most popular shows everyone’s binge-watching
I have to admit, I really didn’t expect to enjoy Netflix’s new show Locke & Key as much as I did. The trailers made it look very… how can I put this nicely?… CWish. There’s nothing wrong with The CW if you’re into that sort of thing. But even if you do watch a few CW shows, you have to admit that the production value, special effects, writing, and acting definitely aren’t on par with what other networks are doing. I decided to give Locke & Key a shot anyway though, and I’m so glad I did. It’s immensely entertaining, and the only thing it has in common with CW shows is the fact that it’s planted squarely in the YA category. Actually, that’s not entirely true. There’s one character whose performance really doesn’t fit in with the rest (Dodge, for those who have seen the show) and it’s so annoying. My wife said it best: it’s like she’s acting in a CW show and everyone else is on Netflix. She’s not distracting enough to ruin the rest of the show though, and hopefully they write her a bit differently in the second season. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a new show to binge.
Of course, I’m not alone in thoroughly enjoying Locke & Key. In fact, a new roundup of the most popular shows on television and streaming services shows that more people are binge-watching Netflix’s new fantasy series than any other show out there right now.
