I know what I’m not having for lunch today, thanks to this Burger King ad
These days, we’re not exactly hurting for choices of fast-food restaurants that offer the traditional comfort food meal of a burger, fries, and a drink. Five Guys, McDonald’s, Shake Shack — they all follow variants of a pretty similar model. Which makes Burger King’s new TV spot touting its Whoppers so interesting and a bit of a break from the norm.
In the commercial, which you can watch above, a single Whopper in all its artery-clogging glory occupies the frame the entire time. Against the backdrop of the song “What a Difference a Day Makes,” we then watch the burger … slowly decay and rot. Until, more than 30 days in to this time-lapsed ad, the Whopper has devolved into a gross, moldy mess.

CDC says new coronavirus is even more dangerous than we thought
The Chinese coronavirus that has been spreading like wildlife in parts of the country and popping up elsewhere around the globe may be even more dangerous than we all already assumed. A new study by the Chinese CDC says that the virus is actually more contagious than similar viruses that have caused problems on a large scale in the past, including SARS.
This is particularly interesting because, thus far, the coronavirus that results in the disease Covid-19 is actually less deadly than many of its peers. The death rate is significantly lower than that of SARS, but it being more infectious means more cases and, as a result, more deaths overall.

Exciting leaks say MCU Phase 4 will get a new team of heroes separate from the Avengers
We may have 14 MCU Phase 4 titles to look forward to, eight of which are TV series coming to Disney+, but we have no clear indication of where Marvel’s heading now that the Infinity Saga has wrapped up. The upcoming movies will continue the arcs of some of the recently introduced characters, and they’ll also add new Marvel heroes to the pool of eligible Avengers. We’re set to discover new villains as well, including threats that will require massive team-ups like the ones we’ve seen in Infinity War and Endgame. But the overarching storyline Marvel is developing is still unclear.
The studio has drawn inspiration from major comics for previous movies, although it didn’t follow them exactly, adapting the characters and stories to work for the MCU. A series of recent leaks said the Avengers might not be the only team of superheroes going forward, revealing that the next major team will be teased as soon as Black Widow hits theaters in a few months. Now, we have a pair of reports that further supports that line of thinking.

Guess what PS5 and Xbox Series X buyers want even more than killer graphics
There’s precious little question that Sony’s upcoming PS5 and Microsoft’s next-generation Xbox Series X are two of the most hotly-anticipated new product launches of 2020. Their current consoles are now seven years old, though we of course saw some iterative updates midway through this console generation. More powerful rigs like the PlayStation 4 Pro were great at the time, but gamers are ready for something new. They don’t just want more power and faster game loads, they want exciting new features and next-gen gaming experiences unlike anything available right now from older consoles.
The good news is that according to everything we’ve seen and heard so far, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are going to deliver. A big leak from earlier this week may have finally revealed the full specs for both new consoles, and they’re shaping up to be monsters. All that power isn’t just about speed though — insiders say that Sony and Microsoft’s new gaming rigs will “blow people’s minds” and usher in entirely new gaming experiences for people to enjoy. For example, we’ve heard rumblings about a new multiplayer mode on the PS5 that will allow different players to control different functions of the same character, which sounds crazy. There are so many things that have come up in the rumor mill so far, and Sony and Microsoft have also each made preliminary announcements about their upcoming new consoles. With both the Xbox Series X and the PS5 set to be unveiled in the coming months, we’re starting to wonder what gamers will be paying attention to most when deciding which next-generation console to buy.

Cancelled TV shows 2020: Every show on TV, Netflix, and more that’s ending this year
All good things must come to an end. And all bad things must come to an end even sooner.
2020 marks the end of the road for a ton of high-profile series on TV and streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and more. In fact, there are so many shows that are already confirmed to be ending this year that we decided to round them all up so you can see the full list in one place. As of the time of this writing, dozens of shows have been cancelled following a final season set to air in 2020. Some are popular shows that are still successful but have come to a natural end, like The Good Place and Bojack Horseman. Others just couldn’t gather enough steam to continue, like Netflix’s Spinning Out and Sweetbitter on Starz. And a few series coming to an end this year are long-running shows that simply don’t have anywhere else to go, like The CW’s Supernatural and CBS’s Criminal Minds, both of which will be sunsetted after their fifteenth seasons in 2020. Those are just some of the 43 different TV series that are scheduled to end this year.

Why spend $1,000 on a Galaxy S20 when this unlocked Android phone with 3-day battery life is only $219?
There’s no question that Samsung’s new Galaxy S20 lineup is impressive. All three new S20 models feature mind-blowing specs and gorgeous designs, and the camera on the Galaxy S20 Ultra is jaw-dropping. That said, I would never recommend that any of our readers actually buy one, because Samsung’s pricing is completely insane. The cheapest Galaxy S20 model costs a whopping $1,000 in the US, and the maxed-out Galaxy S20 Ultra is $1,550. No. Way.
You’ll find plenty of other Android flagships out there for much less money, but Android phones are so fast and powerful now that you don’t even need to cough up cash for a flagship to get a great phone. In fact, there are plenty of less expensive Android phones out there with killer features you won’t find on any flagship phone, period. Don’t believe me? Well, just take a look at the Moto G7 Power, which is on sale right now on Amazon for just $219 unlocked and contract-free. It’s quick and sleek with a nice big display and a solid camera, but the real kicker is the battery life — this phone will last up to THREE DAYS on a single charge!
