It looks like Sprint is really gearing up to buy T-Mobile, whether regulators want to see it happen or not. Reuters‘ sources say that Sprint is very close to raising a $40 billion debt package from eight different banks that it will use to buy up T-Mobile, including “a bridge loan of roughly $20 billion from Japan’s Softbank Corp to Sprint.” Reuters expects that the package will be finalized within the next month, which will take Sprint another big step close to buying up the so-called “Uncarrier.”

Zolo, a recently launched Indiegogo project, has come up with a very clever way to help you keep your phone charged with minimal hassle by creating a case for your smartphone that can magnetically latch onto a battery pack. Unfortunately, the case doesn’t yet support wireless charging so you still need to hook your phone up to the battery when a small cable even though the two devices are magnetically stuck together.

No matter how excited you are by the Fire Phone, it might be in your best interest to wait before you preorder. DealNews took a look back through its archives to try and find a pattern that the Fire Phone may end up following, and according to the data, “mainstream Android phones see a 50% discount just two months after their release” on average. Those deals are coming even sooner as the market becomes increasingly competitive. For example, Samsung’s Galaxy S5 was discounted by up to 55% one month after its release, and is currently on track to hit $0 (with a two-year contract) before Black Friday.

It’s been a big news week for Apple’s iWatch and now 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman has weighed in with a new report that claims Apple has been working with several professional athletes — including Lakers star Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Kings right winger Dustin Brown and an unnamed member of the Boston Red Sox — to make sure the iWatch can hold up under the most strenuous of conditions. Gurman says that these athletes have been testing out all aspects of the iWatch, including widely expected features such as its heart-rate monitor and its step tracker, as well as other features that “read a person’s hydration levels, blood pressure, and sweat.”

Both Reuters and The Wall Street Journal have provided several details about the iWatch in recent days, with both publication confirming an October launch for the device. Now Chinese website Laoyaoba says that one of the reasons the iWatch is launching so late, other than the fact that iOS 8 is only supposed to be released this fall, is that Apple is waiting for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to approve the device.

Jerry Seinfeld doesn’t love Sarah Jessica Parker’s new Country Squire in latest CiCGC

Comedians in cars getting coffee Articles of Interest by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Filed under:

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has finally returned for its fourth season of combining Jerry Seinfeld, a miscellaneous celebrity and a cup of java. But rather than fondly remembering some older piece of automotive machinery, this time around, Seinfeld is utterly unable to keep his hatred of Sarah Jessica Parker’s 1976 Ford LTD Country Squire from coming out to hilarious effect.

However, Parker has such a high level of infectious enthusiasm for her recently purchased Country Squire that she seems to win over Seinfeld by the end – at least a little bit. For most of their time together, the two of them drive around Manhattan and the suburbs waxing nostalgic about what things were like when these wagons were ubiquitous.

Since this is actually SJP’s car, she and Seinfeld trade off driving duties, and the image above should give you some indication of Seinfeld’s reaction to the Sex and the City star behind the wheel. It seems this ’70s land yacht might be a little too much for her to handle in New York traffic. Regardless, she is absolutely in love with her Ford.

Head over to Crackle to view the latest episode for yourself. Normally, we’d just embed the video for you, but Crackle’s code doesn’t seem to be working…
