Don’t dunk the OnePlus One in water, no matter what you see on YouTube
The OnePlus One has taken on a mythical quality, mostly due to the fact that it’s almost impossible to buy, but there are some very real limits to its perceived powers. Android Police has noticed that there’s a new video making its rounds on YouTube that shows the OnePlus One being dunked into a few centimeters of water and held there for a little more than 10 seconds before being pulled out completely unscathed. The single biggest reason Apple is still in a class of its own
Apple haters may not want to admit it but Apple’s business model is working out very well, and not just because it’s helping Apple continue to post sky-high profits — it’s also helping the company keep its customers fanatically loyal to the brand. The biggest reason Apple is able to do this, writes John Gruber, is that it controls every single aspect of its products, from the hardware to the software.
