New report gives key details on the iWatch’s release date and price
We know Apple is planning to release a huge number of products this fall but the timetable for exactly when each one will launch is still unclear. Barron’s flags a new research note from Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Brian White, who has been meeting with supply chain vendors and who believes that Apple is planning to launch its iWatch alongside its 4.7-inch iPhone 6 this September.

The next Xbox and the PlayStation 5 may be already in the making, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Office of AMD Devinder Kumar seemed to suggest on Tuesday at a Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Technology Conference, without providing any specific details.

LG G3 is a smash hit in South Korea, selling 100,000 units in less than a week
Just five days after the G3’s May 28th release in South Korea, LG had already sold 100,000 units, the fastest opening week sales of any smartphone is LG’s history. Korea IT Times reports that the daily sales volume has been estimated at 20,000 to 30,000 units. As a point of reference, the G2 was estimated to have sold less than 10,000 units per day when it launched last year.

Microsoft just gave the Xbox One a big power boost – but only if you ditch Kinect
When Microsoft finally unbundles the Kinect from the Xbox One later this month, it will be more than just good news for consumers; Microsoft confirmed to Eurogamer on Thursday that without Kinect, the additional resources on the new Xbox One units will “allow access to up to 10 per cent additional GPU performance,” giving developers the opportunity to make their games look even better on the new generation console.
