Mario Kart 8 still wasn’t enough to push Wii U past Xbox One and PS4
As expected, the highly acclaimed Mario Kart 8 has given Nintendo a significant sales boost… but it still wasn’t enough to beat the hottest game to launch on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last week. Eurogamer reports that Mario Kart 8 helped Nintendo boost week-over-week Wii U sales by 666% in the United Kingdom last week, although Nintendo’s “savior” game still finished in second place behind Watch Dogs, which outsold Mario Kart 8 on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. In fact, Mario Kart 8’s strong showing on the charts only goes to show how poorly the Wii U is doing in the latest console wars since it’s literally the only Wii U title in the U.K.’s top 40 list — every other title besides Mario Kart 8 runs on the Xbox One, the PS4, the Xbox 360, the PS3 or even the PS Vita.

OS X isn’t becoming more like iOS – they’re maturing, together
Sighs generally signal one of two things. Oftentimes, sighs are exhaled with exasperation, highlighting frustration or disappointment. But every so often, on days like Monday, sighs of relief bubble up.
For years now, I’ve relied on a MacBook of some description as my primary work machine. I typically have between 15 and 25 apps open, with many accomplishing something or another in the background. I know no foreign languages, but could probably quote at least four dozen OS X keyboard shortcuts on command.
I’m the definition of a power user, and I was starting to think that Apple was hanging guys like me out to dry.

Of course, none of them could even figure out how to turn it on, though one child happily exclaimed that a game the Fine Brothers loaded up for her was at least “better than Flappy Bird!”
Now, the Fines are back with another hilarious video that shows teens reacting to the Internet of the 1990s.
