How the Beats deal could help Apple create a new generation of fans
As we’ve mentioned before, one underrated aspect of Apple’s decision to buy up Beats is that teenagers apparently love Beats headphones — a recent survey conducted by Statista showed that 46% of American teens preferred Beats headphones to others, for example. Even though a clear majority of iPad and Mac owners do own an iPhone, it’s still somewhat surprising to see such a big chunk of users using both iOS and Android, especially given all of the comically whiny essays we’re read from Apple diehards who couldn’t even stand to use Android for a day.
