Edelbrock Dodge Ram E-force Supercharger
Edelbrock has introduced its E-Force Supercharger system for 2009-12 Dodge Ram trucks with a 5.7L HEMI engine. This system increases the performance of the stock engine to 421 rear wheel horsepower and 441 ft-lbs. of torque, for an increase of 100 horsepower and 100 ft-lbs. of torque over stock for improved street and towing performance.
This system utilizes the same Eaton Gen VI 2300 Twin Vortices Series (TVS) rotors found in the highly successful HEMI passenger car E-Force Superchargers. The supercharger assembly is integrated into Edelbrock’s unique intake manifold for a truly seamless design with minimal components. The intake features 7″ long runners for maximum low-end torque and an integrated bypass valve that helps reduce parasitic loss under light throttle, which improves gas mileage potential.
Keeping the air cool is a dual, high capacity, air to water intercooler and a full face, low temp, heat exchanger. It has been designed to meet 50-State emissions (E.O. Number D-215-85) and will work with all OEM emissions equipment. The complete E-Force supercharger system (#1538) includes everything needed to bolt it on. It includes a supercharger/manifold assembly, air-to-water intercooler and a handheld programmer to properly tune the factory ECU for the added power. A system is also available without a tuner (#15380).
This system is ideal for users who already have a tuner or wish to tailor a custom tune. Edelbrock offers two levels of optional powertrain warranty terms – including 3-Year/36,000 mile and 5-year/100,000 mile, offering up to $19,000 of coverage.
