New leak suggests the Galaxy Note 4′s display will be Samsung’s most gorgeous yet
Samsung almost always sets the bar for other companies when it comes to creating gorgeous displays, so it’s not surprising that the upcoming Galaxy Note 4’s display is shaping up to be its best yet. GSMArena has obtained some leaked specs that purportedly detail the Galaxy Note 4’s display and they show the device will feature a 5.7-inch quad-HD display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, which makes it the same size as the Galaxy Note 3’s display but at a much higher resolution. Of course, having a high pixel count isn’t the only thing that makes a great display but Samsung has shown in the past that its displays are also top-notch when it comes to brightness, color accuracy and their performance in high ambient lighting. If history is any guide, the Galaxy Note 4’s display will be nothing short of stunning when it’s finally unveiled.

Ford opens order banks for 2015 Mustang, pricing starts at $24,425*
Filed under:
Ford is officially selling its all-new 2015 Mustang, following today’s release that the automaker has begun accepting orders for the fastback model. Accompanying the announcement came the long-awaited pricing for the entry level model, fitted with the 3.7-liter V6, which will start at $24,425 (*including destination and delivery).
As previously announced, there will be three available powerplants when the vehicle is launched. All are offered with a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters (horsepower and torque figures have not been finalized):
- Naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V6, producing more than 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.
- Turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, producing more than 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque.
- Naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, producing more than 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque.
The base price of the 2014 Mustang is $23,335 (including destination and delivery), which means the 2015 model arrives with a $1,090 premium over the outgoing model – an increase justified by an all-new platform with the new independent rear suspension. Other new standard features include HID headlamps, rear view camera system, keyless entry and SYNC connectivity with a 4.2-inch color display.
According to the press release, the Mustang will roll into North American showrooms this fall.

The only consumer survey that matters has found that among all businesses across every industry, Comcast and Time Warner Cable are the two most hated companies in America. The American Customer Satisfaction Index, which is put out quarterly by the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and is considered the most comprehensive customer satisfaction survey in the United States, has just come out with a new survey showing once again that Comcast and TWC have the lowest customer satisfaction ratings of any ISPs in the United States. A group of MIT and Harvard students is creating the most secure email system ever
Ever since Lavabit shut itself down last year, several different new alternatives have been proposed for people who want a truly secure email system that can’t be accessed by government agencies such as the NSA. BostInno reports that a team of students from Harvard and MIT are banding together to create a new email service called ProtonMail that they say will be more secure than Lavabit and won’t be hackable by the NSA or other spy agencies. Not only does this new email service offer end-to-end encryption but it’s also based in Switzerland, where it won’t have to comply with American courts’ demands to hand over user data. The service launched as a public beta last week after spending two weeks before as an invitation-only private beta. Anyone will be able to use ProtonMail to a limited extent for free, although the students say that “power users” will have to pay $5 a month to use the service.
