When Ford announced that its 2015 Mustang would arrive with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, three letters came to mind: SVO. While Ford hasn’t said a word regarding the rebirth of a Mustang SVO model, this latest set of spy shots shows us something very, very interesting. Allow us to explain.
The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we’ve spotted before – same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What’s different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500’s usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it’s also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. We’ve got a video below that compares the two.

FEATURED — Facebook killed my high school reunion
In a way, the high school reunion is as unashamedly American as apple pie and Chevrolet. Go on — ask your parents if they had one. I’d wager that the majority of them would say that they did, and in fact, they probably retain quite a few memories. Someone was shockingly large; someone was stunningly beautiful; someone had completely fallen off of the wagon. The high school reunion’s primary allure was the possibility — nay, the probability — of a few shockers, coupled with the underlying desire to show up and impress the folks who ragged on you with devilish persistence back in the day. Seeing anyone, let alone someone you once spent a great deal of time with, after a decade of absence is sure to be an interesting occasion.
Unfortunately for this generation, such a spectacle is nearly impossible to still find.

God, does email truly suck. What used to be the best way to keep in touch with friends and family has now become an annoying slog, especially our work email inboxes that are overloaded with mounds of useless garbage that we’ll never get around to responding to. Gas prices jump for Victoria Day long weekend, did you fill up?

After the shocking overnight price increase of gas across the country last month, many Canadian motorists have experienced a similar jump again in Ontario, just hours ahead of the busy Victoria Day long weekend.
The fuel price per litre went up by nearly three cents (hitting roughly 136.9 per litre) in the Toronto area and most of southern Ontario on Thursday night. If you haven’t already filled up you’ll likely end up getting hosed at the pumps for a few extra cents this Victoria Day weekend. According to the helpful website TomorrowsGasPriceToday.com, fuel prices are 9.3 cents per litre more expensive today than roughly this same time last year.
While it’s a bit late to avoid the spike of long weekend gas prices, we’ve put together these helpful gas-saving tips on ways to drastically improve your fuel economy. Long gone are the days when gas cost less than a dollar a litre; the last time the average price of regular gasoline dipped below the loonie was back in the summer of 2010.

Google received a potentially devastating blow in Europe earlier this week, where a court ruled in favor of the individual’s right to protect his or her privacy, and the right to be forgotten on the Internet. Essentially, this ruling gives the power to any European Internet user to ask the search giant to remove links that point to websites that contain personal details. And it looks like hundreds of people are already demanding that certain links should be removed from the Google Search index.

Here’s why the OnePlus One only costs $300 despite having killer specs
How can OnePlus sell the 16GB version its OnePlus One flagship phone for just $300 off contract despite featuring killer specs that include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM? Well, assuming that the phone exists and isn’t just an empty cardboard box, it seems to be because OnePlus has decided to forgo both a big marketing budget and profitability for the time being. In an interview with TechRadar, OnePlus CEO Peter Lau said that his company is “selling the phone at cost” and is relying on word-of-mouth and interaction with its community of fans to help promote the device.

Does Android crush iOS when it comes to usability? The answer may lie in a single screenshot
Late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs famously vowed to destroy Android because it is a stolen product. “I don’t want your money,” Jobs is said to have told Google’s Eric Schmidt during a meeting. “If you offer me $5 billion, I won’t want it. This is why Samsung sells millions of smartphones each quarter
No matter how hard Samsung is criticized for its business choices, especially regarding handset design and software, the company still remains the largest Android device maker in the world, and the most profitable one thanks to its very strong marketing team.
