Apple just released iOS 13.3.1 beta 1 for the iPhone
It’s been at least a couple of weeks since Apple’s last iOS update was released, so that means we were long overdue for a new beta. What, you thought Apple was going to leave well enough alone until after the holidays? The company loves betas far too much for that, so it decided to surprise us with a new release on Tuesday afternoon. iOS 13.3.1 beta 1 has now been released for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch lineup, while iPadOS 13.3.1 beta 1 was released alongside it for all compatible iPad models. This release is all about bug fixes and ironing out even more wrinkles — like a Screen Time bug that has been annoying people — as opposed to adding new features, so you obviously shouldn’t expect anything mind-blowing in this release.

A huge Marvel leak might’ve just spoiled the storyline from the next epic Avengers movie
Phase 4 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe kicks off next May with the first standalone Black Widow movie, a prequel that’s supposed to bring us some sort of closure. After all, Natasha is dead and she’s never returning to the present-day Avengers — that present is 2023, by the way, given what happened in Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. But Marvel is also working on other MCU Phase 4 titles as we speak, and we have a significant leak that confirms a key part of the upcoming Avengers storyline. This is something we’ve all suspected ever since we saw the Far From Home post-credits scenes, and it has apparently confirmed long before Marvel might have hoped.

Here’s how the first PlayStation 5 game will take advantage of the console’s huge hardware upgrade
Last week, on the same night that Microsoft finally revealed the design of its Xbox Series X, Gearbox Software and Counterplay Games announced the first PlayStation 5 game: Godfall. All we had was a teaser trailer, but PlayStation LifeStyle got the chance to interview Keith Lee, Counterplay Games CEO and creative director on Godfall, to find out more about the game and why it needed to be on the PS5 instead of a current-gen console.

NASA finally picked its landing spot on asteroid Bennu
Earlier this month, NASA revealed the final four would-be landing spots for its OSIRIS-REx asteroid probe. The locations, known as Nightingale, Kingfisher, Osprey, and Sandpiper, represented the areas of the asteroid where the probe would have the best chance at touching down, snagging a sample, and then returning to orbit around the speeding space rock.
It took roughly a full year for NASA to examine Bennu’s surface in enough detail to find the best possible landing sites, and narrowing it down to just four potential locations was a pretty big deal. Now, after further investigation, NASA is declaring that Nightingale is the best choice.

Someone who saw the ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ premiere says those massive leaks were real
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker might ruin the entire Skywalker saga, as a few leaks suggested a few days ago when they seemingly revealed nearly everything there is to know about Episode IX. There’s something in the plot of the film that might leave fans scratching their heads and questioning what we thought we knew from the previous movies, including the original trilogy. The leaks we saw in the past few days provided extensive details about the storyline and characters, and now someone who attended the premiere can confirm that at least some of the leaked information was real. This is the moment where I tell you that huge, huge spoilers follow below, so you’d better avoid this post (and social media) if you don’t want the movie to be spoiled.
