Insider leaks more details about the Galaxy S11’s signature feature
When the Galaxy S10 launched back in February, Samsung confirmed the three signature feature that appeared in several leaks in the months preceding the press conference. The Galaxy S10 devices feature Infinity-O displays with selfie cameras punching through the screen, in-display fingerprint sensors of the ultrasonic variety, and multi-lens camera systems on the back containing up to four distinct cameras. The Galaxy S11 will have the same general look as the S10, several leaks have said, although the hole-punch will resemble the Note 10 version. The most significant upgrade you’ll be getting next year concerns the camera experience, which is apparently going to be the Galaxy S11 only essential signature feature. And the closer we get to the rumored mid-February launch event, the more camera details we have for you.

? PRICE MISTAKE ALERT: Amazon just cut the Nintendo Switch to its lowest price ever, probably by mistake ?
Look, we’re going to cut right to the chase on this one because there’s a very good chance it’s a big mistake. As with all mistakes like this, Amazon will honor the price if you get in on the action before it’s fixed. In this particular case, a $30 on-site coupon you can clip slashes the Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Con to $269.99, and then the promo code D3E2CDJ6GB6S gets you another $30 credit.
That effectively drops the price of the Switch to $239.99, which is completely unheard of. One of two things are about to happen: either Amazon will fix the mistake and one of those $30 promotions will disappear, or the Switch will sell out within an hour or two. Either way… HURRY!
Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy‑Con – HAC-001(-01): $269.99 (use code D3E2CDJ6GB6S)
Here’s more info from the product page:
- Play your way with the Nintendo Switch gaming system. Whether you’re at home or on the go, solo or with friends, the Nintendo Switch system is designed to fit your life. Dock your Nintendo Switch to enjoy HD gaming on your TV. Heading out? Just undock your console and keep playing in handheld mode
- This model includes battery life of approximately 4.5 to 9 hours
- The battery life will depend on the games you play. For instance, the battery will last approximately 5.5 hours for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (games sold separately)
- Model number HAC 001(01)

This might be the biggest leak so far from Marvel’s next epic Avengers movie
As big as Avengers: Endgame turned out to be for Marvel, the studio can’t just turn around and make another movie of such epic proportions. It needed more than 10 years to build the MCU up for such a suspenseful and heartbreaking climax, and we’ll have to wait quite some time for a similarly massive plot to grow inside the MCU. We need new heroes to replace the ones we lost, but also new villains of the same ferocity as Thanos to give the Avengers the kind of life-or-death task they had to face in Infinity War and Endgame.
We heard not too long ago that Marvel is planning a massive Avengers sequel that would turn out to be a fight between the Avengers and the X-Men, with the latter yet to be discovered in the MCU. That’s still not going to happen for quite some time though, and we have no specifics on how and why they’ll be at odds. But on the heels of a recent report that claimed a different MCU movie that’s not part of the Avengers franchise will set up the next Endgame-like film, we have a new report that gives us what might be the biggest leak so far from the next Avengers movie. Mind you, however, we’re still looking at very early rumors about films that are far from hitting production.

Something you always thought you knew about beer isn’t actually true
Tapping on the sides or top of a beer can is a time-tested tradition that allegedly helps calm the flood of fizz that spews forth after it’s opened. Lots of people do it, perhaps just out of habit, but does it really work? Science finally has the answer.
A team of scientists out of the University of Denmark conducted an experiment using over 1,000 cans of beer which were conveniently donated by a beer company. But who would be willing to crack the tops on over 1,000 cans of brew? Students, of course!

Everything new coming to Netflix this week, and everything leaving (week of Dec. 15)
The Netflix original series that we all have been waiting for is finally here. On Friday, the first season of The Witcher will make its debut on Netflix, and while the creators have done their best to temper expectations, Game of Thrones fans who felt slighted by the final season are desperate for another epic fantasy that can take up the reins. We don’t know if The Witcher can do that, but at least the early reviews have been positive.
The other noteworthy addition to the Netflix library this week is the movie The Two Popes. It stars Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce as Pope Francis and Pope Benedict XVI as they form an unlikely friendship.

Disney+ is a huge hit and already on more than 22 million devices
The impressive launch of Disney+ essentially provides us with a case study in how to successfully enter a saturated media market and immediately make an impact. There’s no question that the streaming field these days is crowded, but Disney managed to implant itself as a serious contender thanks to an affordable price point, a library of familiar and beloved content, and of course, a hot new show with The Mandalorian.
While official metrics regarding the Disney+ launch remain to be seen, early reports suggest that Disney+ hit the ground running and quickly amassed millions of new subscribers. Indeed, on the day of launch, Disney issued a press release boasting that they’ve seen “extraordinary demand with more than 10 Million sign-ups.”
