It’s been a little over a month since the last major software updates for the iPhone and iPad rolled out, but following another round of beta testing, iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 are now available. The number of new features introduced in the betas for iOS 13.3 was fairly limited, as evidenced by the fact that Communication Limits for Screen Time was possibly the most noteworthy. There is also a new toggle to prevent Animoji and Memoji stickers from appearing on the Emoji Keyboard, in case you can’t stand looking at them and want to turn them off.

Just hours after PlayStation wrapped up its latest State of Play broadcast, Nintendo is joining in on the fun with a new edition of its Indie World Showcase. Previously known as Nindies Showcases, these streamed events are a great way for Nintendo to show off all the smaller titles coming to Switch in the weeks ahead. In other words, don’t expect to see a new mainline Mario or Zelda game, but there should be plenty of fun surprises.

Unfortunately, unlike last time, there were no major leaks ahead of the stream to spoil all of the surprises, so we’ll just have to watch along when the event begins at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET on Tuesday, December 10th.

Sony made an unexpected PlayStation 5 announcement a couple of months ago. The company revealed the actual name of the console — it’s PS5, of course — as well as a few key features of the new controller, without mentioning its actual name. We expect it to be called DualShock 5 when the console launches next winter, not that it really matters. What gamers will care about are the new features that Sony thought up for the controller, including improved haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. On top of that, the controller might have a few more exciting new features onboard that Sony is yet to reveal, including one nifty feature that we didn’t see coming.

The current console generation may be winding down, but until the next-gen consoles have actually been revealed, Sony will continue to pump out new games for the PlayStation 4. Tuesday’s State of Play broadcast was evidence of that, as ten games and pieces of downloadable content were on display, most of which will launch within the next few months. So even with the PS5 less than a year away, the PS4 isn’t quite dead yet.

You can see the trailers for all of the games that were shown off during the stream below, but the biggest reveal was also the least surprising, as Resident Evil 3 leaked online several days ago. Nevertheless, fans of the franchise will undoubtedly be excited to see Jill Valentine and company in HD in the game’s first trailer.
