Colorado school district shuts down over 40 schools because people can’t stop throwing up

Kids get sick and, when those kids go to school, other kids tend to get sick. This is something that schools, parents, and the kids themselves have always had to deal with, but things are especially bad in Colorado at the moment. So bad, in fact, that Mesa County Valley School District 51 has made the difficult decision to shut down all of its facilities, including over 40 schools.

The illness sweeping through the student population hasn’t been identified, but whatever it is, it’s making a lot of kids puke. For the time being, over 22,000 students will be asked to remain home and not attend classes.

The commentariat seems to be coalescing around two schools of thought at the moment when it comes to the hottest two streaming rivals right now, Disney+ and Netflix.

One assumption is that Netflix’s pre-eminence as the king of the streaming hill remains assured, with Disney+ reportedly having amassed an audience so far that’s only a sliver of Netflix’s. Analysts have noted in recent days that the launch of Disney+ also doesn’t seem to have interrupted the normal cadence of Netflix app downloads, and there’s also an assumption that the streaming landscape is plenty big enough for more than one major provider of content.

There’s no ‘Avengers 5’ in MCU Phase 4, but a big reunion could come in a different movie

One of the things missing from Marvel’s next slate of MCU adventure is an Avengers: Endgame sequel of some sort. Marvel can’t stop making Avengers films considering what Infinity War and Endgame did for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Avengers 5 might take its time to arrive. Many of the original Avengers have been removed from the board or are going to be replaced soon. Iron Man and Black Widow died, and Captain America retired. Thor and Hawkeye might be next to leave the team. New heroes will join the Avengers, however, and that’s why an Avengers 5 film needs time to develop. We have to meet the brand new additions to the team as well as the next major villains they’ll have to defeat. At best, Avengers 5 will come in Phase 5, which will likely unfold in 2022 and 2023 — Marvel did tease that the next Avengers movie could be smaller in scope, but the company has at least eight release dates spread out over those two years.

Now, a new report tells us that we won’t have to wait as long to see several of the Avengers reunite in the same movie. It might happen a lot sooner than 2022, but in different MCU franchise.
