Disney+ launch day is today and people couldn’t be more excited. Well, actually, Disney+ had some early issues will streaming errors for some users, so those particular people probably would’ve been more excited if everything had gone a bit more smoothly. If you happened to be hanging out in St. Louis, Missouri, last night at around 9:00 p.m. local time you may have witnessed something truly spectacular in the skies. Many people across the area reported seeing an incredibly bright flash of light in the sky, followed by a streak slicing down toward Earth from above. It was a meteor, and thankfully for those of us who don’t live in St. Louis, it was captured on video for us all to enjoy.

As local CBS affiliate KMOV reports, the brilliant fireball was captured by many home cameras across the region, and one of the lenses from the EarthCam network even managed to catch a glimpse of it.

The launch of Disney+ on Tuesday is encompassing a massive rollout of this all-new streaming service across a variety of different software platforms, TVs, and operating systems, as Disney embarks on the biggest push it can to get the new service in front of as many people as possible — and as quickly as possible.

At launch, users will be able to start watching Disney+ content across everything from Apple TV to Roku, Xbox and PS4 consoles, iOS and Android devices, Android TV, and Samsung Smart TVs, to name just a few. Sony and Microsoft will both release brand new consoles ahead of the holiday season in 2020, and both companies have already shared details about their next-generation video game consoles. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett will be fairly similar when it comes to specs and performance, and they’ll probably have similar price tags as well. But there’s one other factor that will influence gamers as they decide on one device or the other a year from now, and that’s content.

While it’s too early to talk about the launch titles that will be available on the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett next year, we expect both of them to offer backward compatibility, at least for some of the hottest games available right now. But a few separate reports indicate that one hotly anticipated game might be ready in time for the PS5 and new Xbox launch: Grand Theft Auto 6.
