This incredible site will tell you exactly what credit card fits you best
BGR has partnered with The Points Guy for our coverage of credit card products. BGR and The Points Guy may receive a commission from card issuers.
If you’re interested in seeking out the best credit card offer you can find right now, there’s certainly no shortage of card offers with excellent welcome bonuses to choose from. The really savvy card shoppers, though, know that there are also often targeted welcome bonus offers that are even better than those available publicly (involving the same card, no less). Even better? Anyone at all can search to see if there’s one available for them — all you need to do is know to look in the right place. That place is the CardMatch Tool website.
If you haven’t visited the site in a while, it would be definitely worth it for you to check it out again soon to see what might be available for you. Some people have even been targeted recently for the incredible 100,000-point offer on The Platinum Card® from American Express — an offer that requires $5,000 in spending within the first three months of opening your account in order to earn the 100,000-point welcome bonus.

Here’s proof the first week of Apple TV+ was a success
Now that the first week of Apple’s new streaming TV service is officially in the books, early indications are starting to come in about how the myriad Apple TV+ series have been received so far — and, more important, whether or not the new streamer got off to a solid start or saw its launch fall flat.
We would argue that based on where things stand now, with the free 7-day trial wrapping up on Friday for those of you who signed up on the November 1 launch day, Apple did probably as well as it could have hoped for in taking its first steps toward participating in the so-called Streaming Wars. Tepid responses from critics notwithstanding, Apple’s shows reportedly garnered “millions” of views during week one, but there’s even more reason to believe the launch was a success.

Marvel confirmed a dead hero will return, solving one of Endgame’s last mysteries
Avengers: Endgame is the biggest movie of the year, a massive event for the Marvel Cinematic Universe that has no rival. The film is filled with amazing Easter eggs that fans of the MCU certainly appreciate, and the fast-paced story is fun to follow, although there are various events that have puzzled fans.
The film’s plot isn’t full of holes, and most everything can be explained — and we did look at the various controversies that emerged after the premiere. Not to mention that Marvel stepped in to clarify matters, going on record to explain some of the more divisive elements of the plot — time travel rules and Captain America’s timeline come to mind. But there’s still something Marvel needs to properly explain, a detail that might prove to be very important for understanding the entirety of Endgame as a film, and of what’s to follow in the MCU.

6 new trailers you need to watch: Bad Boys 3, Soul, The Banker, and more
If you’ve been dying to see a sequel for The Shining, well, this is the week it hits cinemas. And Doctor Sleep has received plenty of great reviews that suggest the film is a must-see for fans of Stephen King’s stories. Also out in cinemas this week is a light Christmas comedy called Last Christmas starring the mother of dragons.
Battling for the top stop at the box office is a World War II movie that has the potential to entertain, Roland Emmerich’s star-studded Midway. If hitting a movie in a crowded multiplex this weekend isn’t what you want to do, you’ll find plenty of new movies streaming on Netflix, including Let It Snow, Holiday in the Wild, and The King — the latter was released last week, and it’s a lot better than I’d have expected. On top of that, a bunch of Apple TV+ shows have received new episodes, and Disney+ will launch in just a few days.

This incredible limited-time Hilton Honors credit card bonus is one of the best we’ve seen
BGR has partnered with The Points Guy for our coverage of credit card products. BGR and The Points Guy may receive a commission from card issuers.
Please note: the offers mentioned below are subject to change at any time and some may no longer be available.
People seek out and ultimately sign up for credit cards based on a whole host of factors. Perhaps affinity to a brand or perks that will especially reward a frequent traveler. One of the most attention-getting determinants is often the up-front reward, the welcome offer of bonus points that can range into the six digits — a number like 100,000 welcome points (and more) that makes a card offer easily stand out. Those certainly get my attention, something that I’m sure is true for many people. We’re hard-wired to be attracted to the prospect of big rewards and incentives — something that Hilton and American Express have just brought back in the form of a limited-time offer on one of their co-branded cards, the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card.
The offer: Through December 31, this card will earn you 150,000 Hilton Honors points after you make just $3,000 in purchases with the card within your first three months of card ownership.

Here’s a fish with a human face, in case you needed nightmare fuel
A truly bizarre video is flying all over the internet at the moment that appears to show a fish with a human face where its normal fish face should be. It’s a strange sight and, if I’m being totally forthcoming, it’s more than a little unsettling.
In the video, a fish appears near the shore of what appears to be a pond or lake, slowly swimming toward the cameraperson. The fish, which looks like a species of carp, gobbles something from the edge of the water and then retreats beneath the surface. It does this while wearing a human face. Mother Nature is a mad scientist.

Elon Musk gloats over Tesla share price, blasts longtime Tesla short seller
In a development that few saw coming, Tesla’s earnings report for the September quarter blew analysts away on all fronts. While many analysts on Wall Street were anticipating yet another quarterly loss, Tesla posted earnings of $1.86 per share. As a point of reference, analysts were expecting a loss in the range of $0.42 per share.
Investors naturally reacted favorably to the earnings report and shares of Tesla have since skyrocketed. In the two weeks since Tesla posted its earnings report, Tesla shares are up by about 80 points, or up 32% to be exact. In turn, Tesla CEO Elon Musk — who apparently has a penchant for holding a grudge — couldn’t help but gloat about Tesla’s stock price in a letter sent to David Einhorn, a hedge fund manager who has long held bearish positions on the company and holds a short position on the stock.
