True wireless earbuds with 23,000 5-star ratings are down to $36 at Amazon
- Apple’s various AirPods models are obviously the first things that come to mind when most people think of true wireless earbuds, but there are plenty of other options out there that are far more affordable.
- Even with AirPods and AirPods Pro on sale at all-time low prices on Amazon, you can easily save $100 or even more by trying out a rival brand instead.
- One of the best deals available right now at Amazon is the wildly popular TOZO T10 Bluetooth 5.0 True Wireless Earbuds, which can be had for just $35.99 for a limited time.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
There’s really no question that among our readers, Apple’s various different AirPods models are by far the most popular true wireless earphones. AirPods Pro are always top sellers, but that’s especially true lately since Amazon has been selling them at their lowest price ever, matching its big sale from Black Friday and Cyber Monday last year. Then in a surprise turn of events, Amazon slashed a whopping $50 off the AirPods 2 with Wireless Charging Case last week to drop them to a new low price that beat last year’s Black Friday sale by $10.
You really can’t go wrong with either one of those models, or with regular AirPods 2 that are on sale right now for $139. That said, there are plenty of other true wireless earbuds on Amazon right now that are far more affordable than AirPods, even while they’re on sale at all-time low prices.
TOZO T10 Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Earbuds with Wireless Charging Case IPX8 Waterproof TWS Stereo…: $35.99
If you have an iPhone, you’re probably familiar with the brand TOZO. If not, it’s the company that helped start the ultra-thin iPhone case trend with all those paper-thin plastic cases that are available for various iPhone models. They’re made for plenty of Android phones now as well, and there are dozens of different brands that have gotten in on the action. TOZO’s cases are still the most popular ones though, thanks in large part to the fact that they cost less than $10 each.
TOZO’s strategy of selling high-quality accessories at shockingly low prices extends to the TOZO T10 Bluetooth 5.0 True Wireless Earbuds, which are among the best-rated cord-free earphones on Amazon’s entire site. They have accumulated more than 33,000 ratings so far on Amazon, and more than 23,000 of those Amazon ratings are 5-star reviews. They retail for just $40, which is already more than $100 less than the retail price of Apple’s most affordable AirPods. Clip the coupon on the product page, however, and you can snag a pair of these best-selling buds for just $35.99!

Flushing the toilet might give you coronavirus
- A review of existing research suggests it’s possible that the novel coronavirus may spread via bathroom use.
- The review, which included studies as old as the 1950s, reveals that a “toilet plume” may contain biological material capable of causing infections.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
One of the aspects of the novel coronavirus pandemic that seemed to take health experts and doctors by surprise was how incredibly easily it seemed to spread from person to person. At first, it was thought that only symptomatic people were contagious, but that was later proven to be false, and we now know that even individuals who have no symptoms can spread the virus to others.
Now, a new review of research associated with disease transmission via feces suggests that it’s at least possible that individuals who test positive for coronavirus may spread the disease to others after using the bathroom.

Some smartphone accessories are a no-brainer. For example, you know that anytime you buy a new iPhone or Android handset you also need to buy at least one good protective case for it. Smartphones are ticking timebombs if they’re not wrapped in a protective case, because even a drop from a short distance can smash the glass on the front or back if the phone lands the wrong way.
Smartphone cases are very important, of course, but there are other smartphone accessories you can buy once and use them with each new phone you purchase. Headphones like Apple’s AirPods and AirPods Pro (which are both discounted right now at Amazon) will obviously work with any phone, as will wireless chargers. You’re crazy if your phone supports wireless charging and you don’t have at least a few wireless chargers for your bedroom, home office, kitchen, and your office so you can charge with ease at work. Today, there’s a killer sale that will help you fill in the blanks if you’re missing a charger in any of those spots.
Use the coupon code SDAK2503 at checkout and you’ll slash the price of the Anker 10W PowerWave Pad Wireless Charger down to just $8.49, matching an all-time low. This is the best-selling model Anker makes and Anker is the best brand in the business when it comes to chargers. That obviously includes wireless chargers, so you definitely need to get in on the action before this deal is done.
Anker Wireless Charger, PowerWave Pad 10W Max Qi-Certified Fast Charging for iPhone 11, 11 Pro,…: $8.49 (use code SDAK2503 by 4/30)

- The Anker Advantage: Enjoyed by over 50 million users worldwide, our leading technology will change the way you charge.

- Sleep-Friendly LED Indicator: The LED indicator allows you to easily check the charging status of your device and is designed to be gentle enough that it won’t disturb your sleep.
- Through-Case Charging: Don’t fumble with your phone case. PowerWave charges directly through protective cases up to 5 mm thick (not including cases with magnetic or metal attachments).
- What You Get: PowerWave Pad, 4 ft Micro USB Cable, welcome guide, worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.

Netflix will release 49 new original movies and shows in May – here’s the full list
- Netflix has announced its full May 2020 releases list and as expected, it’s packed full of high-profile original movies, series, and specials.
- There are dozens of new Netflix originals set to premiere over the course of the month in May, but there are two releases in particular that people are looking forward to most.
- The first is Space Force starring Steve Carell, and the second is a hotly anticipated new stand-up special from Jerry Seinfeld.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
April has already been a wonderfully solid month for Netflix in terms of new original movies and shows premiering on the service, and some of the most hotly anticipated new releases of the month are still to come. Season 2 of Ricky Gervais’s dark comedy After Life debuts tomorrow, as does the action-packed thriller Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth. Season 4 of The Last Kingdom follows two short days later, and then on Monday Netflix will release the premiere season of Never Have I Ever, a new coming of age teen comedy created by Mindy Kaling. Wondering what great new Netflix original movies and shows you might’ve already missed this month? You can find the full schedule of Netflix’s original releases for April 2020 right here.
Once you’re done with that, it’s time to turn your attention to May 2020 — and you’ll be glad you did because this month is packed full of hotly anticipated releases. Nine different Netflix original movies and shows will be released on May 1st alone, but the action really starts on May 5th with the release of a brand new Jerry Seinfeld stand-up comedy special called Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill. Season 4 of Workin’ Moms follows one day later, and then Dead to Me season 2 will be released on May 8th. If you haven’t already seen the first season of this dark comedy starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, you really need to check it out.
There are plenty more high-profile releases over the course of the month in May, including the interactive special Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy Vs. the Reverend, Magic For Humans season 3, and a new stand-up special from Patton Oswalt. That said, there’s one show and one show alone that everyone is looking forward to most next month. That’s right, Space Force season 1 is set to be released on Friday, May 29th! The new comedy series inspired by Trump’s ridiculous space warfare branch of the military (yes, it’s a real thing) stars Steve Carell and was created by Greg Daniels, who was also behind legendary comedies The Office and Parks and Recreation.
You’ll find the full calendar of May releases including third-party content right here. But if you want all the fluff stripped out so you can focus on all of Netflix’s new original content that’s set to premiere in May, you’ll find it all laid out below.

We have another fantastic roundup of daily deals for you to check out on Thursday, and we can’t even believe that the first one is still available. Remember when we told you earlier this week that Amazon’s best-selling face masks were back in stock and available to ship as soon as this week? Well, they’re somehow still in stock and somehow still available to ship this week! The CDC says masks like these work great as long as you follow its other guidelines about hygiene and social distancing. You can also make your own simple DIY coronavirus face mask using supplies you have lying around the house or much more complex DIY face masks with virus neutralizer, but if you’re not the DIY type, Amazon’s best-selling face masks are the best and most affordable 3-ply masks we’ve found.

Apple plans to launch an ARM-based Mac with its own chips in 2021
- Apple will release its first ARM-based Mac with an in-house processor in 2021, Bloomberg reports.
- Apple’s first Mac chips will feature 8 high-performance cores and at least 4 energy-efficient cores.
- Work on second-generation Mac chips has already begun, based on the 2021 iPhone processor.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
Rumors of Apple ditching Intel and designing its own processors for the Mac have been floating around for years, but a new report says the company will finally take the leap in 2021. According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to start selling computers with systems-on-a-chip designed in-house next year, barring any setbacks.
Bloomberg’s report says that Apple is working on three ARM-based Mac processors through an initiative codenamed Kalamata. The chips are said to be based on the A14 processor that will power the next iPhone, but sources say that the first of the three chips will be “much faster” than those found in iPhone and iPad models.

Hurry and you can get a Nest Learning Thermostat for $199 at Amazon
- The flagship Nest Learning Thermostat has been the hottest smart thermostat on the market ever since it was first released many years ago, and the current-generation model got a massive discount earlier this week.
- Head over to Amazon and you’ll find that this wildly popular $250 smart thermostat is on sale for just $199, beating the discounted price from Black Friday last year.
- The Nest Thermostat E is also on sale right now with a $30 discount that matches Black Friday’s price from last year.
- Visit BGR’s homepage for more stories.
When it comes to smart home products, there are some gadgets that are much smarter than others. Then at the top of the smart home pile, there are a handful of devices that you’d have to be crazy to pass on. A good smart thermostat is at the top of the list.
You might be wondering why a good smart thermostat is so essential and there are two different reasons. The first is that it’s good for the environment, which some people might care about more than others. By decreasing the amount of energy your home heating and cooling systems use, you’re burning through fewer resources. But the second reason is something everyone can get behind: A smart thermostat saves you money.
Google, T3007ES, Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen, Smart Thermostat, Stainless Steel, Works Wi…: $199.00
Devices like the Nest Thermostat E and Nest Learning Thermostat use smart features to decrease the amount of time your HVAC systems run. The less they run, the less you pay — it’s that simple. The prices of the thermostats themselves really don’t matter at all since they pay for themselves in savings. Then once they’ve paid for themselves, the rest of the money you’ll inevitably save goes straight into your pockets.
Of course, the sooner your smart thermostat pays for itself the sooner you start pocketing those savings, so now is a great time to buy one because Amazon is offering some fantastic deals. In fact, the Nest Thermostat E is on sale today for the same price it was on Black Friday. On top of that, the Nest Learning Thermostat is on sale with a gigantic $50 discount that drops the price to just $199, which is even lower than the deals we saw last year ahead of the holidays. It’s also worth noting that Amazon is shipping these smart thermostats out soon rather than sometime in May like most nonessential products. We’re not sure why Nest Thermostats make the cut, but we’re also not complaining!
Google, T3007ES, Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen, Smart Thermostat, Stainless Steel, Works Wi…: $199.00

- Amazon’s best-selling face masks arrived back in stock earlier this week and thousands of our readers rushed to the site in order to stock up on them.
- It’s unclear how much inventory Amazon has in stock right now, but the masks are somehow still in stock despite the staggering volume of orders we saw earlier in the week.
- Medical-grade face masks should be reserved for healthcare professionals, but the rest of us are still being advised to wear protective face masks when we have to leave our homes and these masks are perfect for the job.

Despite all the craziness you’re seeing right now, there is something important that you absolutely must keep in mind: unless you’re a doctor, a nurse, or a first responder on the front lines of the war against the novel coronavirus pandemic, you don’t need an N95 respirator face mask. Even if you somehow come across some N95 masks that are available to purchase, you absolutely shouldn’t buy them under any circumstances, and there are two main reasons. First and foremost, there’s still a horrible shortage of N95 face masks and people selling them on the black market are further reducing the number of masks that are available to the healthcare industry. Second, any N95 masks you come across right now will undoubtedly be severely overpriced, and they’re a waste of money if you don’t have a real need.
Should you ensure that you wear a face mask each and every time you leave your house right now? Yes, you certainly should. People with nonessential jobs are being advised to continue to shelter in place right now. Even if businesses start to open up in early May like the White House wants despite the advice of pretty much every expert out there, you should still continue to quarantine yourself and only go out when you absolutely must. When you do have to go out to pick up groceries or do something else that is absolutely necessary, the CDC advises us all to use some type of protective face covering in order to limit the transmission of the novel coronavirus. That DOES NOT mean you should wear an N95 mask or even the KN95 masks that are now flooding the market from China. As long as you practice social distancing and good hygiene, a standard face mask will do just fine.
There are a bunch of different options out there that won’t block healthcare professionals from getting the medical-grade face masks they all need so desperately. We recently told you how to quickly and easily make your own DIY face masks using supplies that you likely already have lying around your home, and they’re far more effective than other cloth DIY face mask instructions you’ll find online. If you want to step things up a bit, someone reverse-engineered an N95 face mask and posted instructions to make your own, complete with a virus neutralizer. If you’re not the DIY type though, don’t worry because we have some excellent news for you.
Face Mask, Pack of 50: $38.99 ($0.78 / Mask)
Earlier this week, we told you that Amazon’s best-selling face masks were back in stock and available to ship out as soon as possible. These are 3-layer masks that do a great job of blocking things from your airways — as long as you take the necessary precautions and practice strict social distancing. These are not N95 masks or medical-grade surgical masks, and that’s important to note. That said, they’re much better than most of the cloth DIY face masks that people are sharing plans for online right now.
When we told you about these face masks arriving back in stock on Amazon, thousands of our readers rushed over to the site to buy them. Incredibly, however, these best-selling masks are still in stock and still available to ship as soon as this week. There are other face masks available right now on Amazon as well, but none that will arrive as quickly as these.
The aforementioned face masks from Amazon and the two DIY masks we linked are all great options, and they’ll definitely do the job if you also remain vigilant. Stay at home unless you absolutely must go out. Practice social distancing and stay as far away from other people when you do have to leave the house. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer as frequently as possible, especially after touching surfaces outside of your home.
