Apple would love for you to trash your old PC and replace it with an iPad Pro. Early reviews have indicated that while the iPad Pro is a terrific device in its own right, it’s not good enough for many users to be a full-on PC replacement.

Now one iPad Pro user has taken to Reddit to post a detailed account of what it’s like to use the device as your primary PC. Long story short: Apple still has a lot of work to do before the iPad Pro can be a full-fledged PC killer.

Apple last week released the iPhone SE, which is largely an iPhone 6s that’s packed into a compact iPhone 5s design and that sports a price that’s characteristic to mid-range to high-end Android handsets. In other words, Apple finally delivered the one iPhone model many have asked for: an affordable yet powerful device that doesn’t have a huge screen.

But that’s not the only reason for Android device makers to worry. The iPhone SE spells trouble from a different point of view.

The FBI took on Apple and lost, but it’s still looking for ways to persuade tech companies to give it back doors to encrypted devices. However, the extra attention the encryption debate received in the past few weeks won’t work in the FBI’s favor. There’s something brewing over at Nest and it ain’t pretty.
