Apple makes plenty of accessories, but USB hubs cannot be counted among them. This is interesting since Apple’s ultra-thin line of laptops are all a bit lacking when it comes to available ports.
We’re not sure Apple will ever come around and start selling its own USB hubs to help users connect more devices to their MacBooks at once. If Apple ever did make a USB hub though, it would probably look something like the Inateck Unibody Aluminum 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub.

Twenty-four years ago this month, a Finnish developer with a sharp tongue who’s regarded by some as one of the most influential programmers alive today released version 0.01 of the Linux kernel to the Internet.
Creator Linus Torvalds introduced it by posting a message in the days before its release to a Usenet newsgroup that famously began: “I’m doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won’t be big and professional like gnu).” Since then, the code base has of course expanded — from 10,000+ lines of code to millions — and it helps power everything from TVs to tablets to smartphones, routers and more.

Sprint’s marketing team might want to rethink its latest tweet. On iPhone 6s launch day, Sprint’s Twitter account sent out a picture of two men happily holding up their new iPhone 6s models along with the caption, “Sprint delivers the hottest phone AND rescues you from lines.”

It’s been ages since an entry in the Halo series lured me in with its multiplayer. I played Halo 2 obsessively with friends a decade ago, and custom modes in Halo: Reach’s Forge ate up several weeks of my life, but I’ve never had any real interest in playing Halo competitively for months after release.
That might change with Halo 5: Guardians.
