Apple will release the final version of iOS 9 later today, and the software update will bring several new features and performance improvements. On top of that, the new release will fix a massive iOS vulnerability that would allow a third-party to gain control of a user’s iPhone. The bug also affects Macs, and will be squashed in the upcoming El Capitan release (set to launch on September 30th).

Stephen Colbert has been host of The Late Show for less than two weeks but he’s already spent ample time taking shots at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. This isn’t that surprising given that Trump’s presidential campaign was tailor made for comedy but we’re nonetheless happy to see Colbert hasn’t lost his touch after switching over from Comedy Central to a major broadcast network.

Edward Snowden probably needs no introduction, as long as you’ve been following the news at any point for the last couple of years. The former NSA contractor-turned-whistleblower revealed to the world the advanced powers of government agencies when it comes to conducting smart mass-spying operations.
Evidently, someone made a movie about it. And when Snowden, the movie, is made by none other than Oliver Stone and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the film becomes all the more appealing. Sadly, Snowden isn’t hitting theaters on Christmas Day, as had been planned, and is instead being pushed back to 2016. As Variety explains, the movie is now out of the 2015 awards season race.

Sadly, the fourth-generation Apple TV is not going to shake up the game industry as many fans and bloggers predicted before Apple’s ‘Hey Siri’ event last week, but it’s still a noteworthy upgrade over the previous model. It features an updated UI, a new operating system and, perhaps best of all, comes with an incredibly neat looking remote.
