Tesla’s all-wheel-drive Model S P85D might just be the best car on the planet, at least according to Consumer Reports. In fact, Tesla’s top of the line Model S performed so well during testing that it quite literally broke Consumer Reports’ testing scale, initially scoring 103 on a 100 point scale. Subsequently, the publication was forced to implement a few changes to its scoring scale just to account for the Model S.

A rather scary piece of iPhone malware would let an attacker spy on a target using an approved App Store app without the person’s knowledge. In fact, the malware app could continue to gather data for the hackers — or for a spy agency — even after the infected app is closed by the user. Apple apparently fixed this huge vulnerability beginning with iOS 8.4.1, but earlier iOS builds are still affected.

The idea of weaponized drones might sound like something you’d see in a sci-fi movie, but you might end up seeing it in the real world before you know it. Following the passage of a new bill in North Dakota, police in that state now have the green light to launch and use drones armed with a variety of non-lethal weapons, including rubber bullets, tear gas, pepper spray, and tasers.

Real estate search site Estately recently dove into Google search data and came up with some common search items in each state that it deemed embarrassing. Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are expected to be announced on September 9th, during a yet-to-be-confirmed Apple media event that should already be in the works.
