The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus aren’t even officially official but one major carrier is already letting you reserve yours. The move isn’t exactly surprising, as all mobile operators who stock Apple’s smartphone try to make the most of the iPhone, particularly the latest model. We’ve already seen T-Mobile promising current iPhone 6 buyers a seamless iPhone 6s upgrade this fall, and T-Mobile’s parent company has an iPhone 6s play of its own.

Stargazers in the northern hemisphere enjoyed the oldest meteor shower known to Earth in August 2015. The annual Perseid shower occurs when pieces of comet Swift-Tuttle hit Earth’s atmosphere at more than 133,000 mph and burn up. Here are some stunning images of the 2015 Perseid meteor shower.

There are many Apple analysts out there — some of them are good and some of them are… not-so-good. The most amusing Apple analyst bar none, however, is Global Equities Research analyst “Acid” Trip Chowdhry, who infamously declared that Apple would “disappear” if it didn’t release the Apple Watch by last May. Street Insider informs us that Chowdhry is back with a new prediction about Apple’s next big project and it’s apparently going to be a heads up display (HUD) that measures anywhere from 27 inches to 50 inches.

It’s become increasingly common over the past few years for tech companies to reward hackers with cold hard cash whenever they discover and promptly report critical software bugs. Some companies, with Google and Microsoft being two prime examples, even officiate hacker contests to help squash as many bugs as possible.
With that as a backdrop, one would think that Facebook would have been a bit more forgiving when dealing with an intern who discovered a security flaw affecting the company’s Messenger app. Coming straight out of Harvard, Mark Zuckerberg’s alma mater, intern Aran Khanna was on the verge of starting an internship with the social networking giant this summer before having the offer withdrawn.

It seems like no one can release a phone that’s good enough for Android fans these days. Recently we documented Android fans complaining because the OnePlus 2, which delivers cutting-edge hardware for under $390, lacks support for NFC. Phablet fans, rejoice! The Galaxy Note 5 finally arrived on Thursday, and as we noted in our hands-on preview, it’s easily the best Android phablet on the market. That said, plenty of Android fans were tempted by the iPhone 6 Plus last year, and with the iPhone 6s Plus presumably a month away from release, some fans might be waiting to see what Apple has to offer.
