Earlier this week, Star Wars fans got excited over a second of unseen footage that appeared in a new trailer for the upcoming sequel. It might sound small, but for a movie being kept as close to the vest as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it was a big deal.

On Wednesday, fans were treated to another surprise when Entertainment Weekly unveiled 12 new photos from the set of the film to go along with its cover story.

Every iPhone retail box already comes with a small piece of Liquidmetal in it, the tiny SIM ejector, but that’s the only product currently made from the innovative metal alloy. However, that might change in the future, as Apple is studying new ways of using this exciting metal technology in future devices, including next-gen iPhones, iPads and Macs.

Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system is, without question, a breath of fresh air. It’s not just the fact that Windows 10 is better than Windows 8 — a pen and paper are better than Windows 8 — it’s the fact that Microsoft actually took its time to create a platform that makes sense on both desktops and tablets, instead of cramming elements for each different experience into one user interface.

Nothing is perfect though, and Windows 10 does have some issues. We covered five of the most common problems people were having with Windows 10 and their respective solutions, and now it’s time to look at five more serious Windows 10 issues.

There are times when you take a step back and realize just how clueless Silicon Valley is about the way the real world works. This may sound a little strange since Silicon Valley is deeply involved with making the modern world work in the ways that it does, but it’s nonetheless common to see that some of the tech industry’s brightest people have no understanding of normal people’s behaviors or desires. It’s this kind of oblivious delusion that made Sergey Brin think Google Glass would be a sensation with consumers, for example.

I just watched my smartphone case heal itself from scratches

In late 2013, LG unveiled a smartphone called the G Flex. It was one of the first smartphones to feature a flexible display, as the name might indicate, and its casing was curved slightly to help showcase that.

Meh.

The phone also included another new feature though. While it wasn’t publicized quite as widely, the back of the G Flex sported a special coating that was able to slowly heal itself from minor scratches and swirling. This awesome feature has since been included on a few other LG phones, and it really is quite impressive.

Now, however, a third-party iPhone case maker has invented self-repairing plastic technology that works instantly, and I have been testing it for the past week.

Thousands of Fantastic Four fans beg Fox to stop making Fantastic Four movies

At the moment, Fantastic Four is sitting at 9% on RottenTomatoes, making it one of the most critically panned comic book films in history. Unless the score starts trending upwards any time soon, Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot will officially be worse than 1997’s Batman & Robin in the eyes of critics.

Taking all this into consideration, it’s not surprising to see that fans of the classic comic are desperate to get the characters out of Fox’s hands.
