Every month for the past several years, Sony has released a selection of free PS3 games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. PS Vita and PS4 games were added to the list after the launch of those consoles, and now Sony is mixing it up once again by allowing PS4 owners to vote for one of the games they’ll receive for free beginning next month.

A new report claims that Spotify may be adjusting its business model in the near future. While the popular streaming music site currently offers both premium and ad-supported tiers, DigitalMusicNews relays that Spotify may soon be shifting its focus towards its premium business.

The Perseid meteor shower is at peak visibility this week, which means it’s your best time to check it out without the need for a telescope. NASA informs us that the best time to watch the Perseids is at 4 a.m. ET, or 1 a.m. PT, which means you’ll have to either stay up late or wake up early to catch it. But for dedicated stargazers, we’re sure it will be worth the late night/early morning.

Late last month, the FCC approved AT&T’s acquisition of DirecTV, and the merger was completed shortly after. Not only did AT&T become the “largest pay TV provider” in the country, it also gained hundreds of thousands of new customers that might be willing to switch over to its wireless phone service as well.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Windows 10 would automatically install updates to users’ computers, which rubbed some upgraders the wrong way. All things considered, it wasn’t the most pressing issue with the new OS, but now that updates have started to drop, we’re beginning to see the potential fallout of automatic updates.
