The Apple of 2015 is a brand new Apple, with a culture that appears to be vastly different from how it was just a few short years ago. We’re not saying it’s any better or worse, but it’s clearly different. Steve Jobs’s Apple appeared from the outside to be all business all the time, and countless accounts we’ve read mirror that sentiment. Today, Apple executives are quite literally dancing in the streets.
It would be hard to argue that either approach is a bad one. Jobs’s Apple grew from the brink of bankruptcy to the top of the world, and Cook’s Apple has continued to grow, with a market cap that now sits at more than $720 billion.
Sometimes we forget how closed and secretive Jobs’s Apple really was though, and now a new story illustrates it perfectly.

Two new iPhones will be released this fall — the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus — and an increasing number of reports have recently hit the web, sharing alleged photos of next-gen iPhone parts and new hardware details.
After some leaked pictures emerged earlier this week showing purported iPhone 6s components, a new report from Taiwan offers additional details about the next-gen iPhones, focusing (no pun intended) on camera specs.

As far as movie characters go, James Bond is the epitome of elegance and deadly ingenuity. And even though I personally think every incarnation of Bond is no match for Jason Bourne, there’s one aspect to Bond’s personality that even Bourne, or any other action hero for that matter, simply can’t match: Bond’s insatiable appetite for booze.

For iPad users, the new split-view multitasking feature that will be introduced with the release of iOS 9 is easily the most exciting addition that will hit Apple tablets this year. The new feature allows users to display multiple apps side by side on the same screen, similar to the capabilities we’ve seen on Samsung tablets for the past few years.
Eager iPad owners have a bit longer to wait until iOS 9 is released in September, and installing an iOS 9 beta probably isn’t a good idea unless you’re a developer. There are a few apps that offer similar experiences on the iPad though, and one of them is now on sale for half off.

When it comes to luxury goods, there are no shortage of products whose very existence defy explanation, both from a cost and utility perspective. Still, if people are willing to shell out big bucks for the absurd, you can always bet good money that someone is going to make that absurd dream a reality.
