Following yesterday’s WWDC event, Apple confirmed to Re/Code that it’s upcoming Apple Music service will let users download songs and videos for offline listening and viewing.
Though not an entirely new or revolutionary feature, it does help Apple Music reach feature parity with Spotify as the company hopes to make an immediate and impactful dent in the music streaming market.

After launching on PS4 last year, the PlayStation Now game streaming service is slowly making its way to a wider range of platforms. Starting on Tuesday, owners of select Samsung smart TVs will be able to stream PS3 games without a video game console, although a DualShock 4 controller is required to play.

Samsung’s rugged Galaxy S6 Active got officially unveiled on Monday, but not every Samsung fan is happy. SamMobile’s Abhijeet M., for instance, thinks that Samsung giving the S6 Active a comparatively big 3,550mAh battery is an “insult” to every customer who bought a Galaxy S6 with its 2,550mAh battery earlier this year.

Apple’s iOS 9 includes various features that weren’t explained on stage during WWDC 2015 on Monday. One of them concerns the Health app, which Apple updated to help users collect data about their sex lives.

While Research in Motion certainly made many strategic missteps over the years, it never really had a shot at going toe-to-toe against Apple and Google in the consumer smartphone wars. During Apple’s WWDC keynote this week, Apple saved its “one more thing” moment to introduce Apple Music, the company’s unique twist on streaming music. While Apple Music will serve up music on demand much like Spotify, it also brings with it a number of other features that rivals lack, the most prominent such example being a worldwide radio station Apple is calling Beats 1.

It’s been a long time coming, but we now know what the final tower will look like when it’s built at the site of the old World Trade Center in New York. Wired has an exclusive report about the design of Two World Trade Center, which will be next to One World Trade Center and will be a massive tower in its own right that measures in at 1,340 feet tall. This still isn’t as tall as One World Trade Center, which is a gigantic 1,368 feet from the ground to its roof and 1,792 feet when you account for its spire.

While Apple talked a lot about iOS 9’s security and privacy features during its keynote address on Monday, it also reminded developers that iOS is far better than Google’s Android when it comes to one critical aspect: Device upgradeability. To further drive that point home, Apple made sure that iOS 9 will be able to run on all the devices that currently support iOS 8.

Apple yesterday introduced its long-awaited music streaming service called Apple Music. Built on the back of its $3 billion Beats acquisition, Apple Music seemingly does it all: curated playlists, worldwide radio, and of course, unfettered access to Apple’s library of 37 million songs.
What’s unfortunate, though, is that Apple completely did away with one of the Beats Music app’s best features, its UI.
