Samsung spends more money on marketing and advertising than any of its competitors, and that includes Apple. In fact, it’s not even close — the company’s budget is in the double-digit billions, which actually tops many of the Samsung’s rivals’ annual revenue.
The ads Samsung’s various agencies around the world come up with vary pretty dramatically in terms of theme and style. Sometimes Samsung focuses on bashing Apple, other times it touts the merits of its own products.
This time, Samsung struck gold with an ad that very well may move you to tears.

Google has been the search king for more than a decade and there’s no question that its advertising products are gold, but early versions of Android were… not great.

Seriously, we cannot stress enough how absolutely, positively, pathetically ridiculous you sound.
We idly sat by when people complained about things like not being able to delete stock iOS apps and seeing U2’s album automatically appear in the Music app, but come on… enough is enough.

I don’t think the Apple Watch is going to be a “flop” by any stretch of the imagination, although I also think anyone who thinks Apple will sell 50 million units of the first-generation model this year is fooling themselves. Vox’s Danielle Kurtzleben has posted a very harsh take on the Apple Watch that makes some very strong points on the new device, even though I’m not nearly as pessimistic as she is about its long-term prospects.

When Apple first unveiled the Apple Watch this past September, the demo units journalists were allowed to play with weren’t fully functional, which is to say they mostly contained pre-roll demo videos. So sure, everything looked great, but it’s impossible to truly assess the value of a new product without giving it a proper spin.
