Following the numerous iPhone 6 leaks showing the front sapphire glass panel, the back metal case, and other components, a new photo has emerged, showing what’s said to be the LCD and home button bracket for the iPhone 6. Taiwanese publication Apple.Club.tw has obtained the blurry image from an unspecified source, although the actual LCD component of the handset hasn’t been photographed.

We knew Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Active was a ruggedized and waterproof version of last year’s flagship Galaxy S4 model, but we had no idea just how rugged the smartphone was until now. The tests that put those alleged 4.7-inch iPhone 6 sapphire glass front panels through various tortures, revealing the display is more than able to take a serious beating, may have indeed shown a genuine sapphire glass display for the iPhone. In a new report from The Guardian reveals, professor Neil Alford of the department of materials at Imperial College in London said that the panels are indeed likely made of sapphire crystal.

The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday opened up public comment on the proposed merger between Comcast and Time Warner Cable, which means that you have until August 25th to let the commission know your take on the deal. Comcast issued a press release shortly after public comments opened informing us that the deal will bring “considerable consumer benefits” to everyone without any loss of competition because, hey, it’s not like Comcast and TWC ever bothered trying to compete with one another in the first place.

Expected to launch this fall, Apple’s iWatch smartwatch may be delayed, a new note obtained by MacRumors from KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo reveals. The well-connected insider who has offered many accurate details about unreleased Apple devices now says that mass-production for the iWatch is set for November. Previously, the same Kuo said that the smartwatch would hit mass-production in late September.

The OnePlus One is a very interesting, and quite affordable, fresh Android flagship smartphone – if you’re able to buy one that is – but the company may already be working on at least one new Android device. Famed leaker @evleaks revealed that a OnePlus Two model may already be in the works, codenamed “Lettuce.” The company’s only Android product to date is known internally as “Bacon,” according to the same leaker.
