The city of Vancouver is already known for officially having the worst traffic in North America, but could it also be home to Canada’s worst car crashes? Well a case can certainly be made after spotting this crash in the downtown Vancouver between a bright yellow Lamborghini Aventador and a Chevrolet Cobalt yesterday afternoon.

We’re going to guess there was equal congestion from vehicles, as well as people taking photos of the pricey $500,000 wreck. Nik, who shared his Twitter pic with us, wrote: “I don’t think that will buff out.” From first appearances it looks like everyone involved was okay, meaning it’s time to share some of the funny tweets that followed this crash.

We almost missed the fact the crash happened in front of Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. – and the humble Chevy is, well, like a rock. For more, watch the post-crash video below.

We’re not even going to suggest that you pretend to act surprised, but Amazon on Wednesday finally took the wraps off of one of the worst kept secrets in the industry: the ___. The phone has been in development for years and rumors have been bouncing around since 2012. Then, BGR blew the lid off the handset beginning in April, when we gave the world its first look at the device and reported several key specs.

BGR then exclusively shared a number of key details surrounding the phone’s custom software, shortly before reporting that “Prime Data” would be one of the smartphone’s key selling points. Finally, we gave the world an unobstructed look at the handset for the first time last month.

Now, the ___ is finally official.

We’ve already seen some leaked pictures of Samsung’s upcoming “premium” smartphone but we don’t think any of them have quite looked this good. @evleaks has posted a new leaked press render of the upcoming Galaxy F that’s slated to release later this year, and this new picture shows the device in gold. While this is our first look at the Galaxy F in gold, we’re not at all surprised Samsung is releasing a gold version of the device since it’s also released gold versions of both the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S5.

The most useless viral iPhone app ever was made in just 8 hours

%name The most useless viral iPhone app ever was made in just 8 hours by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Yo is a very silly iPhone app that does one thing – well, not including Easter Eggs – and that’s to send a simple, short “Yo” message to friends. While that sounds very silly, apparently plenty of users downloaded the app and are sending Yos every which way. To date, more than 4 million Yos have been sent by the over 50,000 users that downloaded the app. However, even though it has been released on April 1, the app is not a joke, and the developer behind it convinced an investor to give him $1 million for the app, Think Progress reports.

AT&T CEO says Sprint/T-Mobile merger isn’t happening

When AT&T tried to acquire T-Mobile back in 2011, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse said that there was no way AT&T should be allowed by regulators to acquire T-Mobile — only Sprint should be allowed to acquire T-Mobile. It took three years, but Sprint will soon see how regulators feel about its plans to merge with T-Mobile. Hesse was incredibly vocal in opposing AT&T’s attempted T-Mobile takeover. While it looks like AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson won’t fight the Sprint/T-Mobile deal quite as vigorously, he did have some thoughts to share on the matter.

Filed under:

Signing up for an exotic car tour or track event is an affordable way to make the dream of driving a supercar come true for a day. Here at Autoblog Canada, we’ve been lucky enough to attend a trackday hosted by Exotic Car Tours and loved getting seat time behind the wheel of several different six-figure supercars including the Ferrari shown above.

However, as the saying goes “with great power comes great responsibility” and this Ferrari driving rookie found that out the hard way by crashing hard into a guard rail while out on a sunny Sunday cruise just outside of Toronto. The entire spin out and crash was caught on video by a passenger in a trailing Audi R8 driving behind the now damaged Ferrari as part of the exotic car tour experience. Although the true cause of this expensive crash is unknown (was it the driver, the car/tires or a bit of both), let us know what you think on our Facebook page.
