Apple’s iCloud is a major feature of both iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 Yosemite, with the iPhone maker having announced significant improvements for its cloud solution at WWDC 2014, including more affordable prices. However, that doesn’t mean Apple’s cloud is the cheapest one available. Comcast CEO Brian Roberts said last week that he and his team “don’t wake up everyday and go to work and say we want to be hated” and then suggested that everyone hates Comcast because other companies such as TV studios are constantly forcing it to raise its customers’ prices. However, one story flagged by Consumerist actually shows perfectly well why Comcast is one of America’s two most hated companies and it has nothing to do with higher cable prices.

Earlier this year, we revealed that Amazon is working on a phone that uses multiple cameras to make its screen look 3D. While this may sound like something that will bring us one step closer to Star Wars–esque holograms, it will be much different because the 3D image would clearly be under the phone’s display. However, one company from California is working to go a step further, and according to a profile by the Wall Street Journal, we may see its 3D projector that can fit into smartphones and living rooms as soon as the end of next year.

Net Neutrality is one of the hottest tech- and Internet-related topics right now, as the FCC’s proposed regulations could have a negative impact on the way Internet companies work, and ultimately, on the pocket of regular Internet users. But because the matter seems complex, and awfully boring in some cases, not many people take a stance against the FCC’s proposals. That has been the argument of comedian John Oliver’s appeal to Internet trolls. And not only that — during his Sunday HBO show “Last week Tonight” he called upon trolls to tell the FCC how they feel about its proposal.

The keynote might be over, but that doesn’t mean WWDC 2014 is a wrap. In fact, shortly after the keynote ended, Apple went behind closed doors to give another presentation to developers in which the company revealed a new feature for iOS 8: controller forwarding. 9to5Mac reports that controller forwarding is the continuation of the MFi controller compatibility Apple brought to the iPhone last year. With iOS 8, an iPhone equipped with an MFi controller, like the Razer Junglecat seen above, can be used as a controller for an iPad or a Mac.
