As we’ve mentioned before, one underrated aspect of Apple’s decision to buy up Beats is that teenagers apparently love Beats headphones — a recent survey conducted by Statista showed that 46% of American teens preferred Beats headphones to others, for example. And now Re/code points us to a huge new survey of 10,000 students conducted by education tech company Chegg showing that roughly half of them think that buying Beats will make Apple more popular among teenagers while around a quarter say that the deal would make Apple more cool.
